We know what changed.. John Moffitt and Walter Davis will tell you about Boo. If you have to look up who Walter Davis is, you don’t know LSU track.
A world-renowned coach, Schexnayder has 37 years of experience in the track and field coaching realm. His 12-year stint in Baton Rouge from 1995-2007 brought an unprecedented amount of success to LSU’s field events. In 2004 alone, Schexnayder’s athletes combined to win three NCAA titles and earn 12 All-America honors. Schexnayder guided the efforts of the SEC Field Athlete of the Year, John Moffitt, who swept the NCAA indoor and outdoor long jump titles before claiming a silver medal in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.

I'll correct myself since I spoke out of emotion.
There are plenty of sexual predators across the football rosters for the past decade. We can probably make an all-decade list if you'd like.

You said this team wouldn’t win a championship because they didn’t have people that weren’t supposed to score advance out of regionals, and because people didnt PR at regionals.
You don’t know shite about lsu track. Or track in general.

Saw the very end of the ESPN2 cast. Congrats to our boys in shiny purple tracksuits.

I'm trying to explain to friends and family how dominant our Tigers were in this meet.
They don't get it but hey, I bet every LSU Tiger Fan is an LSU Track and Field Fan tonight. That's fine by me.
I don't mind the bandwagoners.

At least fans on this board are starting to recognize it, some of us have been trying to explain this squad deserves the hype for months now.

Come on now. That incident was thoroughly investigated and put to bed. The only people in Baton Rouge or anywhere making a fuss about it are the ones who Googled his name when he won.
Despite a grand jury refusing to indict and the DA subsequently dismissing the charges, The incident still cost him his senior year of HS(he had to participate in meets as an individual and do home schooling to get his diploma).
He also lost every scholarship offer, despite being the #1 thrower in the country.
LSU gave the local kid a shot and now he's a National Champion in the record books for LSU Javelin. End of story.

49 overall for LSU. 32 belong to track. Not enough respect given to this team.
