Collins may be a jr. but as far as PT he is no different than a SO. He did not play much at all as a freshman so he was almost as inexperienced as chest or the freshman.

Moving the goal post from age to minutes played is silly but none of your argument is meant to be rational, it’s just excuse making so of course it doesn’t matter if it makes any sense or follows any logic.

That may be why some games they get physically dominated. They played tough last night but need to bring that intensity every game. That may be a youth problem and may fall at the feet of McMahon also for possibly not bringing out the best in them or demanding intensity and excellence.
If they bring the same intensity as they did last night for the rest of the season they will win some games and be fun to watch. I trust that they won't shoot 3 for 23 from 3 every night.

I am speaking to this team. Wade didn’t play in an SEC like this. 13,teams going to Tournament. And now with Portal and NIL lots of teams can do what Wade was doing. Totally different game. Wade did get NBA talent. No question about that but then Wade isn’t here is he so why bring it up? I have stated a fact and you have said nothing to refute it. What was the rotation roster the teams Wade faced that yr? Do you know? Once you have your facts then let me know. Whining about 2018 is useless and not even pertinent to this conversation.

The pace of improvement is slow, but each year our NET has improved. With Reed, we’d be even better this year. The team has had some bad luck. CMM may be responsible for some of the problems, but he inherited a mess with limited NIL. He may not be the best coach, but I also don’t think he’s bad. The team has been improving. I’m hopeful it will continue snd think he deserves a little more time.

That’s the problem, they don’t bring it every game so far this season. Hopefully they become more consistent and do bring that intensity every game, time will tell. There is a lot of things they still need to do better to be competitive and win consistently in the SEC.

Sorry but not starting Spears is a mistake because Givens

You can always tell the casuals when they can't even get the name of a key player right. It also makes it difficult to take anything they say seriously. And it gets worse when you realize that they think starting is more important than minutes. Sears (that is how you spell it) played nearly 3 times the minutes of GIvens.

This is great look how well Mike Williams developed from year 1 to year 2 !

I kid, this programs only hope is that chest/both millers and givens can become sec caliber players next year.

Sorry but not a casual fan, made a mistake on spelling but been a fan and watching LSU BBall since Rudy Macklin/H-C Carter/Mitchell/D.Taylor days so not casual fan at all, my point is does matter whether he got in foul trouble early or not he is the best player to play PG for this team, Givens is to young and not ready for road games in tough SEC arenas so u are entitled to ur opinion as am I

Just be patient. McMahon’s going to sneak LSU into the NCAAT is 3-4 years from now.

What is he “building” in the era of a sport where “building” is no longer the path?

3/4th of his first recruiting class is already gone.

Until recently he only played 1 of the 2 players from the second recruiting class significant minutes this year. It’s hard to see Williams sticking around to be an afterthought next season. So next year his building efforts will be 1 Senior (Reed), one RS Sophomore (Chest), and, hopefully, 3 Sophomores, and 3 true freshman.

Can we just bookmark you now for the excuse of “being a young team” next year so we don’t have to rehash the issue.

It does if the team doesn’t have the NIL fund. It means the coach is asked to compete with less. Some are able to overcome that, but it is much harder.

So where is the evidence that applies to LSU? In order for that to be true LSU would have to have adequate NIL for baseball and football, but not basketball. Maybe it’s true, but I doubt it.

Better life than the vagina bleeding losers who post during a competitive game. I mean how miserable does your life have to be that you whine and bitch every game. Loser in life should be stamped on your forehead so you can be reminded every time you look in the mirror..Maybe moms meatloaf will make you feel more accomplished tonight.

Your brain has been so irreversibly cucked that you think losing is winning and you can’t understand why everybody else doesn’t think that way.

You are literally in year 3 of being thrilled that a coach that loses 3/4 of his conferences games has his team “competing”

Well you should try to find a reason to cope with it because CMM isn't going anywhere. Scott isn't firing him sans some kind of scandal. Basketball wins don't matter to Scott.

Wrong.

If we don’t have the NIL fund and these are good young players they will leave and the main point of the OP is moot.

At the end of the day it’s mcmahon’s fault. Maybe he should find some mid major talents that he can coach up. He has to be able to adapt to what we have. We shouldn’t be bottom of the SEC.
