We need to re-hire Coach O now and get out of that last 400k December payment since Lane is likely to hire him anyway. A penny saved is a penny earned.

What’s interesting is that Lane gets 80% of his contract if fired… the exact thing that Gov Landry railed about and he accomplished nothing when it came to the actual contract signed by Kiffin

That guy is correct, but there isn’t much to it.
Orgeron is about to fall off payment wise.
Additionally, BK will see that amount reduced greatly upon his hiring at his next place of employment.
It is short term pain for the arrival of the Lane train.

Though somewhat joking, it does seem like it would be best (if possible) if we'd negotiate his potential rehiring and put that money toward our roster rather than paying him a final buyout payment and then a salary on top of that as soon as the last payout is paid.

Governor wanted Woodward out for political reasons so piled on. He’ll be the first guy leading the parade and taking credit if Kiffin wins big.

Well Honey Badger help immensely paying for the New Locker Room, get some of those snowflake professors(tenured) pay for those classrooms. I’m sure you can get 102,000 people to pay good money to see a debate over who’s work is the best Chopin or Faulkner.
