I wouldn’t think Jay would have hired him if he would have to wait. Pretty sure he wants him here ASAP and talking to recruits/portal pitchers and also working and looking at pitchers we have in summer ball. Then also here for fall ball.

Good deal. That’s what I figured. I thought he would not hire someone who wouldn’t be here soon to get things going and be here for fall to start helping developing pitchers.
