Heard a rumor that the NCAA is now somehow involved? Any one that can confirm?

These guys can't decide on a time to make a decision about deciding a time.

As they should be. The appearance of a state evacuating and declaring a national disaster while a university plays strategery over football is too much to witness.

The SEC could pay for the teams to cancel their non-conference games Nov. 19 so they could play in Gainesville that day. The Gators are currently scheduled to play Presbyterian that weekend. LSU is set to face South Alabama.

If they do this I will be pissed, then I would make the SEC move the A&M game back to Sat to remove the short week.

I'd be hoping the storm took a favorable turn but there's no way in hell I'd drive to BR if a Cat 4 storm was bearing down on the state.

I'm sure Tennessee would gladly offer up Neyland Stadium as a substitute venue.

Knowing most of our Cajun fans if they still play they will show up hell or high water with their white trawling boots and a case of Vienna sausage.

That's not even remotely close to being true.

We would want our team to play, whatever it took and we would be very understanding..

Of all people, we would understand the need for a plan B in this event..

I don't care where it's played as long as it is played. That is the whole point. We only have so many games a season.

I would be more than happy if LSU had to relocate to another location to play a game rather than no game.

Espn usually finds a way to get the game televised.

The SEC will pay South Alabama's cut, but are they going to pay to refund 100K tickets? What about lost concessions?

No way in hell LSU cancels a home game and loses several million to go on the road, play Florida AND insure they close the season with three straight road games against Arky, Florida, and TAMU--with the TAMU game being five days after Florida.

Central Standard Time? Daylight Savings Time doesn't end until November. Is there some section of Louisiana that doesn't observe Daylight Time?

Or does Matt Moscona just not know how to tell time, and doesn't realize that we are currently in CDT?

UF fan is reporting on their board that most gas stations in Gainesville are out of gas. But hey, let's bring in over 100k people for a football game.

Oh, but according to their dumbass fans on the SECr, along with assorted gumps and Aggies, that will all be fixed and hunky dory by Saturday morning.

God, I wish Chicken would shut that board down.

LSU should only agree to move the Florida game on Nov 19th if the game will be played in Baton Rouge...LSU should not have to play three straight road games to end the season.
