I am more worried about our starting QBs than any other players. Unless we are worried that it may be 10 starters or something. I can't think of any one player being more valuable than a starting QB.

Not true. The victim never presses the charges in the first place. The state presses the charges and the DA, as representative of the state, decides what and which charges to press based on what they feel they can prove.
In some cases a victim will be non-compliant so a DA has to no file the case because they can't prove it. In this scenario the fight happened in a bar and even if the victim(s) didn't want to testify, video survellience, admissions by those involved, and witness accounts can still make the case for the DA.
