If the roles were reversed, Verge would have been fired long ago. Just imagine if a white LSU administrator would have allowed white male athletes to sexually assault young black female students, and then cover it up. There would be hell to pay!
And don't forget, if a dumb white student makes a racial comment, he is not allowed to enroll at LSU. However, if you can play football, LSU will look the other way while you assault female students.

You're right that's why I know this isn't over. Woodward and the rest of the administration will be forced to fire these people. I feel like some "forced resignations" will come soon. They will not be allowed to just get off like this because media perception won't allow it. That's not a good look for Woodward or LSU in this situation. Dude is all around a shitty human being. The cherry on top of Ausberry is horrible scheduling. We could've had Wisconsin in Death Valley and partied in Camp Randall. Instead, sterile NFL stadiums and parking lots.

Plenty of reasons to criticize Verge, but this is just silly. First of all, these decisions are above his pay grade. Secondly, you’d really prefer Camp Randall over an opportunity to see a game in legendary Lambeau field?

Verge is a disciplinarian by nature. He does more for LSU than we can afford. It’s gonna take more than the semantics of a text message from that POS to take him out.
When your privileged arse was happy about Katrina washing out the filth of New Orleans, he was busting his arse to keep LSU’s recruiting base intact. You can play the high road all you want, Pussy, but when you think LSU is better off having Verge, of all people, fall on the sword for this program over this bullshite, you might as well be my enemy.

He clearly has a personal connection to Verge and can't look at this objectively. Davis hit that girl so hard he broke her rib. Verge covered for him, which is fricked up. His 30 day punishment is a joke. Especially knowing what we know now. That Drake has a history of hitting women.

Nobody that makes serious decisions in the best interests of LSU that knows all of the facts is letting Verge go.
