Some business leaders around town are talking right now and most of us have come to the same conclusion. A lot of support is about to be pulled from LSU regarding the financial aspect.
Sponsors, ticket sales, TAF donations, etc.

This could get very expensive for LSU.
I hope they reinstate him.

The LSU administration is a disaster.

But, what you are suggesting simply isn't going to happen over basketball.

LSU could lose millions more if hit with a lack of institutional control and death penalty for all sports.

$9 million to be exact.

Think it’s bad today, this place will explode If we not only fire Wade but end up having to pay him $9 million without cause.

Worst case scenario for LSU and “we’re bankrupt” FKing.

If LSU loses to Florida tomorrow then the heat on LSU admin will be turned up to 100 from all sides

No such thing as the death penalty anymore.

The support should be pulled even if they reinstate WW.

People should talk with their wallets and not give the university anything until there is a complete over of the administration

Especially if Wade is eventually cleared, he leaves LSU and then sues.

His statement raises this possibility.

I sincerely hope Will Wade sues the shite out of LSU, wins his entire contract, goes on to coach for Bama and wins 12 consecutive national championships, and has engraved on each tropy "F*** FKA and James Williams"

yall can play dumb all you want. Fact is if he stays off the phone, he's coaching this week and none of this is a problem.
I agree with you on this one cas4t.

A) it's plainly obvious he cheated; AT BEST he tried to cheat.

B) Such a dumb way to get caught.

However, my point on (b) would be: well damn, it took an FBI wiretap investigating a major bribery and fraud case to catch him. What's that say about the NCAA and enforcement of their rules?

My personal opinion is:
1. I expect LSU coaches to cheat
2. When, not if, when you cheat do it big, get rings
3. Do it big... and smart. We have the resources and the know-how.

4. If and when you get caught... circle the wagons and make the best of it. We all know it happens; we all know it is happening. We all know that is how you get rings. From us lowly fans to TAF on to Alleva and up to FKA and the BoS... we all know it. Let's not a single one of us pretend it doesn't happen, isn't happening, and has to happen. We, the fans, aren't pretending. Alleva, the BoS, and FKA need to quit playing polly prissy pants too.

This is strong evidence as to how much bad stuff LSU knows about this that we don't. Otherwise, why would LSU suspend WW & Smart, etc?

You're right. Dawkins is/was a known scumbag and Wade shouldn't have come into ANY contact with him. He should have done what everyone else does and have assts doing the dirty work.

That said, he's been here long enough to know about the AD's skeletons in the closets (or in children's hospitals) so Aleva better keep that in mind when and if he's terminated and his buyout is negotiated.

Sign me up for the $0.00 going to the bball program if they fire WW. My season tickets were a great bargain for what I witnessed on the court this year, but at this point I may be saving some money next year.
