And come on, guys. I agree the admin botched this, but Wade deserves some blame here. He bought players and then talked about it over the phone.

Right. But this issue the patient (WW) was stable (Friday morning) until the doctor (LSU admin) came in and gave him a MRSA infection due to the lack of aseptic technique.

Prove it with something other than circumstantial evidence.

circumstantial? lol. Ok. Everybody knows it but few have admitted it to themselves.

If the NCAA is not part of the interviews i am sure he would talk to LSU Admin but they are so he won't.

It is sad really. Was hoping for this to be real and sustained but cheating and getting caught will set us back further than before CWW was hired.

folks said the same thing about the O hire. I'll believe it when I see it.

TAF donations are down
LSU Ticket renewals are down
Attendance is down

Last season, after ticket renewals, there were season ticket packages (that would be grandfathered to your name) available on LSUTix.net

What fricking proof do you have that he did anything wrong but talk shite on a phone call?!?!?!?

That he refuses to reaffirm his oath to the university that he is and has been in full compliance with all applicable NCAA rules and regulations.

How much will it cost LSU if the NCAA sanctions the athletic department and forces wins to be vacated, rules out post-season participation and reduces scholarships and recruiting resources/visits?

could not agree more.

I just find it astounding that Wade is somehow escaping all criticism.

It isnt circumstantial when he is on tape talking about making an offer. Making an offer to a recruit his mother and a third party is a violation.

So the business community in Baton Rouge supports cheating?

That explains a lot about our state.

It's just because these kids are blinded by Ws after years of seeing Ls. If this had been Johnny Jones, or Trent Richardson in Wade's current situation (without the Ws), you can bet the farm that these same kids would be calling for Jones'/Richardson's head. Further, they would be blaming Alleva for being such a pussy as to not fire him on the spot and get started on the coaching search.

That is a horrible way of looking at it. They’re simply playing the game in basketball that everyone else is playing if they want to win.

I will watch this basketball team because I've grown to love them, but I will not spend an extra dollar on LSU sports in any capacity until this administration is revamped. They are an absolute PR Nightmare waiting to happen time and time again. They are trying to prove "Institutional Control" yet they are doing the opposite in proving a lack of institutional control by allowing this to play itself out publicly.

Is there a well known precedent that would put CBB coaches on notice that the FBI might be tapping phone lines in pursuit of criminal investigations re: recruiting violations?

When I hear "FBI wire tap," I think terrorism/organized crime. Not NCAA recruiting violations.

Wade deserves some blame? I’m sick of hearing this from you fools. I want you to explain too me what proof you have to convict wade of any wrongdoing. He is innocent until proven guilty.

Sorry but no he is not, the NCAA is not a court of law, the only rights Wade has are what the NCAA allow him to have. Wade like all coaches, staff and players signs and submits to the NCAA every year a statement that all activities and duties will be performed within the rules and regulations. If the rules were to be followed to the letter just taking the call from Dawkins was a rule violation since anyone in college basketball knew he was a bagman for aathletic shoe company.

Try to keep up. The FBI wire tap was NOT regarding the NCAA.

If they don't reinstate him I'm definitely getting rid of my season tickets.
