Can't be mad about being behind UCLA. They were a young but very good team last year and they return basically everyone and added some good players as well. They're going to be a very tough out this year and if they don't get hit too hard by injury, they should be the favorite to win it all to start the season.
I'm not sure what all Texas returns, but if a lot of the players from last year came back, they should be up there as well. They had a damn good season going last year but got hit pretty hard by injuries. #3 for them seems reasonable without know a whole lot about who's back for them.
LSU has some key pieces returning, but our infield outside of Milam is still an unknown as far as SEC play in concerned. It'll also be interesting to see who wins the catcher job. I'm guessing it'll be Arrambide's to lose to start the season. I think is being #1 in the last rankings that were released was a little too high. Feel like UCLA should be #1 across all publications considering what they did last year and what they return. I think LSU should probably be more in the 3-5 range to start the season.

I thought they were kind of smoke and mirrors through the SEC season, but that they had at least earned the #1 overall seed.
I know this is old news, but Vanderbilt had no business being the #1 overall seed. Absolutely none.

Perfect Game chose to put someone other than UCLA as number 1 to try to be cute.
Putting the reigning NC with a loaded roster 1st is a bad attempt at trying to be cute.

Boy, I remember the ESPN guys really chowing down on this guy’s crank during Omaha last year.

It's really difficult to account for peak and clutch.
On paper, Arky was better than us last year and we beat them 4/5. How many of our starters would've started for them last year? Like two: Kade and Jared?

UCLA has great talent, but they usually don't play good tournament baseball. LSU has a demonstrated track record at being really good when it matters the most.

Kendall Rogers is still butthurt about LSU fans jumping his case over the streaming debacle from their baseball tournaments.

Yea Vandy as the 1 overall seed was an absolute joke. They screwed that one up big time.

A&M's hitting coach just resigned, effective immediately. So things are still going well in College Station.

Not being preseason #1 pisses you off?

UCLA will most likely not see double digit losses this season with the weak Big10 slate. We will see how good they can be with a 3day series in February against Tennessee, aTm, and Miss St in Arlington

It's a popularity contest, like all the polls. Just win, baby.
