I don’t remember it that way at all. It was loud as frick the entire game. One of the loudest environments I’ve been in from start to finish at LSU.

Since 2024 Ole Miss celebrating the 100th anniversary of Tiger Stadium against a top ranked team came after 2022 Alabama, I will go with that one. An added plus was that was the first game I can remember with the full fledged LED light show with the light up wrist bands.

Some were. But not all. And I'd say not even the majority. Even after the Florida game the majority wasn't pissed. If you can, go back to the Rant threads the night of the Florida game and week after. There were a LOT of people rejecting the concerns with the offense express by other. That was the biggest talking point during the week after Florida. The majority of fans were annoyed with those questioning whether LSU was actually as good as their No. 3 ranking suggested.

Now if things go well with the anticipation and excitement it could easily top all of those...
The reality is the stadium atmosphere depends largely upon how the game goes. It is a good game throughout the stadium atmosphere will be as good, maybe better than the Ole Miss and Florida games. However, if it is a blowout either way it won't be as good because there won't be the tension to drive it. At the beginning of the game the atmosphere will be the same as the Ole Miss and Florida games...both of which the fans were excited for.

Just to go outside the box, I’ve been to literally dozen & dozens of games but when Virginia Tech was at their peak. Being a Top 10 matchup - Frank Beamer(prime) , pretty good QB room Sean Glennon, Tyrod Taylor,
Marcus Vick(Mikes lil bro)- great Defense & Special Teams- maybe 2nd game- cool weather.
And LSU beat the brakes off of them. Beamer and Taylor said they couldn’t even communicate for the whole game.

Maybe. We had a few home games against Auburn in 2013 and 2015. Don't remember what those were like since they were both blowouts

Beat me to it. This will be different...new coach, opportunity to prove to the world AND Clemson that Tiger Stadium is the real Death Valley, and LSU (both fans and team) is hungry. We haven't seen a hungry, pissed off Tiger Stadium in quite a while. Maybe even Auburn '95 type vibes.

Florida 2019. A really underrated game between two Top 5 teams-- game was electric from start to finish. JB wasn't perfect that night but he made spectacular plays when he needed to

The first half will be crunk, hopefully in the 2nd half there will be enough good things happening to sustain it. It's pretty hard to compare to previous seasons because this is probably the hungriest the fanbase has been for a good season since we got good in the 2000's.
