Makings of something truly special. But the piped in music, will kill it and make Tiger Stadium just like any other mega stadium with great sound acoustics. The piped in music truly takes the fans out of BEING THE MAIN FEATURE, like it was for 100 years prior. We never fail as a fan base until the Last 10 years, it’s been a concert you dance a long and go with the music. That’s fine, anytime and anywhere else. But LOUISIANA Saturdays in Death Valley are made fore fans that have chip on the shoulder, liquored up and pissed off and they are going to let it rip for 4 hours. People are argue it’s the same…. It’s not all

Tiger droppings has a lot of power, next 4 months we need to let it be known if you believe piped in music is ruining the history of Death Valley and just normalizing us to everybody else in sports.

I played golf with a guy from New Jersey last week who has never been to Baton Rouge and happens to be going to this game. I told him that he might be in for a real one.

I agree the piped-in music is awful, but what kills the crowd the most are the constant commercials. The fans cannot build into a frenzy because every 10 minutes, you're going to be sitting for 3.5 minutes to hear ads and honor someone, or something in the northwest corner.

The fanbase is spoiled, and the makeup of the crowd has changed a lot, which are bigger factors as well.

They aren't playing piped-in music during the play, or even while the teams are at the LOS (for the most part). In stadium or on TV you can hear the crowd just fine. The music is played mostly during lulls in the action.

Did I enjoy Tiger Stadium at a time it didn't sound like a rap concert at times? Sure. But I also know I, a middle aged man, am not the target audience for the "piped-in" music. If it gets the players and students more fired up and, thus, creates a better atmosphere, it's an "inconvenience" I can live with. Certainly one not important enough to wage some crusade over.
