John Brannen was suspended, they had an investigation and fired him. All four freshman had entered the portal.

Close the deal on Miller and get Efton Reid or Tre Mitchell as well and this team will be extremely talented.

Idk if we have room for two more unless someone else is gone we don’t know about.

He’s very active on defense in those highlights that were posted but from those two games his blocks tended to be from behind or before his man left his feet. Is this guy a true rim protector or just has good hands? We desperately need a big man who makes smaller guys afraid to go up with a shot inside.

If we can get those two then someone will be gone.

A bit surprising he is a take after rumors of Adam Miller, Efton Reid and, at least making the cut for TyTy Washington. They must be fairly confident they aren't going to get all of their top choices. He played HS ball in Seattle before going to Cincinnati. Seems like an odd connection to LSU until you see he was born in Virginia and probably still has family there. Outside of Louisiana if you want to look for LSU's potential recruits start there. (Efton Reid is from Virginia).
I didn't watch much Cincinnati basketball and his highlights aren't incredibly remarkable. However, he looks like a guy in the Emmitt Williams mold. Active defender. Better shot blocker than his size would suggest. Good rebounder. Very limited offensively beyond dunks and putbacks. One of those guys that will do some of the dirty work and let others handle generating the offense.
He's likely not a guy looking to start right away as is the case with most transfers given the way the Cincinnati team crumbled in the last few weeks. Probably a guy that wants a fresh start for his last 3-4 years of college and will be content coming off the bench rather than looking to start next season

Yeah Miller and Reid are takes regardless and we’d process someone.

Should start right away over Leblanc.

Just read his Bio.
Not sure why the part at the end was important.. but I think he could help the tigers.

Unlike you guys I actually watched Cincinnati this season and Georgetown when Leblanc was there. They’re the same player, maybe he’s a slightly better athlete but not by much.
Freshman seasons
Eason- 7.3ppg, 5.9rpg, 1.3bpg
Leblanc- 9.1ppg, 7.3rpg, 1.1bpg
Don’t expect the same production here or for him to start because he won’t start more than a handful of games at most. I like him and Leblanc, the comparison isn’t a not a knock on him but he’s going to produce about like Leblanc does.

1.2 steals per game too in just 19 minutes. Dude must have some active hands.

ANNOUNCE Adam Miller to LSU

We need him bad. We really can’t miss on any targets because of the departures we’ve had.

Besides Eason being good & Leblanc not being very good, yea.

I didn't watch any Cincinnati games this year. Looking at the highlights, it seems like his steals/blocks come from processing the floor and anticipation. Leblanc seemed to do his damage by being in your face as an active on-ball defender. As the roster stands now, I'd expect the two to get similar playing time. Eason did foul out of 4 games this season -- once in only 7 minutes, once in 10 minutes, once in 16 minutes, once in 21 minutes -- so that will be a point of emphasis for him. Highlights don't show the drops, but it seems like his hands might not be made out of bricks like Leblanc's catching passes from guards.

Our team next year is going to be athletic as shite. I think Wade is planning on pressing more

This team HAS to start playing Defense or nothing will change as far as advancing further.
And LSU now has to fight even harder to get past Alabama and Arkansas in the West.
Will Would Be Wise to find a 7 footer from Europe that can play in the SEC; make that SAO and get him in here. .......
