I’m sure the new guys will be excited to play for a top 15 program all time & for Winthrop’s winningest coach

Did he have a hand in the team’s turnaround?

Is this the second assistant that McMahon has lost?

Was the first assistant lost last year replaced by someone already on staff?

Will McMahon elevate someone from his current staff or will he be able to entice someone who can actually move the needle?

Cody Toppert left right before the beginning of the season in September to take a HC job in the G-League. That left McMahon with no opportunity to hire a new assistant from outside. So he promoted Tim Kaine, who had been hired as "Chief of Staff" to a bench assistant.

I suspect McMahon will hire from outside this time.

This program needs a big injection of excitement. The level of enthusiasm is back to Johnson and Jones years.

I agree. But I don't know if an assistant coach hire can accomplish that.

Promote Tasmin and never allow top players from the state to leave. Will pay off in the long run.
