I'm definitely a proponent of Chinea at DH, it'll be good to have his bat in the lineup.
I'll agree with this. Better his bat than his glove in the lineup.

Poche more than likely will get the ball on opening night

No surprise there. Two of the four freshmen will probably start the other KU games.

Does Mitch Gaspard have what it takes to turn around the Crimson Tide baseball program?
Time will tell, they're heading in the right direction. A 30 million dollar stadium renovation under his watch gets him some brownie points. The draft wasn't kind to our recruiting class but I think we've still got some solid freshmen coming in. The pitching staff is a question mark but we'll be playing in a pitchers park this year. A few guys that came on strong late return.

Do they still dogpile after winning game 3 of a series in which they lost the first two games?
Couldn't tell ya. We split 1-1 last year in the box.

I'm sure Bama can't wait to dogpile there so they finally know what it feels like.

Umm, I've had enough of LSU dogpiling there, but that's a topic for another day.

We've argued this on here before. I'm in the minority. I say Skip didn't care about the SEC Tourny, he didn't want to waste extra emotion and energy right before the regionals. He only wanted to win at least one game to get 3 starters their work. Skip's teams never dogpiled at the SEC Tournament.
Paul's have been great in Hoover, but then we run out of gas many times after. Now when LSU plays, I want them to win. But the total jubilation and dogpiles in Hoover is a bit much.
