Numbers are a good thing.
UT has 6 baseball titles overall.
And they have 1 Final Four in the past 7 years.
They are the ones that are in line for titles RIGHT NOW...unfortunately, we aren't.

BTW, they are starting to install the new right field bleachers. Part of the outer, chain-link fence in right field (beyond the new indoor batting cage building) is down for the construction. Parts of the new bleachers are stored behind that wodden, er, wooden fence.
Right field bleachers...something new that all the rantards will claim won't be finished in time!

Just kidding. Come on guys, I saw about 6 of y'all pull out the same come back on 4 different pages. Get that weak shite out of here.
But for real, I think this team is going to MASH the ball offensively.
Also, I think our defense will be just as good as last year's if not better... With Hanover playing his correct position, Nola shutting down SS, Mahtook and Landry in OF, and Gibbs - the most consistent catcher from freshman year defensively to upperclassmen with maybe the exception of Matt Liuzza. The only question I see is Dean at 1st, but whatever.
Now, where we succeeded in (front-line starting pitching, closing pitching, and clutch hitting) remains to be seen if we can even match that type of play.
Who knows? Maybe Dean will start off hitting .220 for the first few weekends of baseball or we lose to a couple LA directional schools during the week and I can be entertained by another early season baseball TD meltdown. Always my favorite time of the year.
