I was wondering when they were going to start this. I know it probably wont take them long but with the season being less than 2 months away I assumed it would be pretty soon that they got started on it.

I completely disagree. Barnes has built that program from the ground up. Before Barnes, had anybody ever heard of Texas basketball? Now, they are a perennial powerhouse.
Say what you will....but I would trade LSU's basketball program for Texas' basketball program in a heartbeat.

Texas went to the final four in 02-03. That is 1 final four in the last 7 years, geniuses.
And Texas had a shite b-ball program when Barnes showed up. In terms of talent and recruiting, there is no comparison.
LSU got lucky with its class of Big Baby, Tyrus T, and Co....I say they got lucky because John Brady didn't have to work to sign those recruits. They fell into his lap.
Texas has a perennial powerhouse. That is where LSU would like to be. I don't understand the hate.

Not surprised about ut. Its just like highschools, places like texas and florida just have more to choose from. I know some of yall went to smaller public schools which equals less kids to choose from to be on athletic teams. We are lucky to be a big school and have an established baseball power house.
UT and UF are 2 of the biggest schools and still have other large unuversities in theur state. shite ucf is bigger than both yet UF still manages to get 40k undergrads.

Yes, we have. I believe we were properly introduced in Omaha this past June. I believe we owe title #6 to the 'Horns.
