If you were to rank all the SEC teams the LSU fanbase hates by actual level of hatred, A&M is what? 5th? 6th?

maybe by you.

No one likes A&M, and i'm pretty sure every LSU fan wants to beat them more than they normally want to beat a team outside of Bama and maybe UF/Auburn/Ole Piss. They are easily at the same level as those 3.

I mean just being honest, LSU has played FAR more memorable and better games against Arkansas than A&M.

You mean we have more memorable games against a team we've played every year for the last 33 years than the team we've played 18 times during that same time? We've played A&M more times than we've played UGA (13) and Tenn (12) during that same time, and we weren't even in the same conference as them for 2/3's of that time.

I don't know anyone that cares about playing Ar-Kansas, or looks forward to playing them b/c they want to beat them. I look forward to beating Texas 8-4 every year.

Dang. I was really hoping for OM and Alabama

They werent going to give Bama us, Auburn and Tennessee and there was no way they werent going to NOT get auburn and tennessee. No way to make that equitable.

The only real surprise to me is no UF / Tenn

Playing none of our 3 biggest rivals is wild. Horrendous stuff from the SEC

damn, 2 of the 3 I have never considered a rival.

Bama, Florida, Auburn, State, all bigger rivals than Ark and 8&4.

Oh well. At least Ark and Ole Miss should be wins if we are good.

I don’t see anyone on that list that has a murderers’ row of “annual opponents”.

If Vandy somehow stays good(they won’t lol) that would be pretty tough for Auburn

The ark game generates the least excitement for Tiger fans out of all conference games.

This surprises me too. Also they split up A&M and Arkansas.

Outside of 2002, 2006, 2007, and 2011 what memorable LSU-Arkansas games are there that had any SEC championship consequence. That is a very low hit rate in games of importance the last 30 years.

Less than Bama/Florida/Ole Miss I agree, atleast it’s an extra win now that Arkansas is a dumpster fire.

Good job by league

I don’t see how abc can pay hundreds of millions of dollars and the league say to them, “we know you’d like to have Bama play LSU but instead how ‘bout Bama vs Mississippi State”. That’s a big omission that delivers a laughably inferior product.

The ratings for the lsu Alabama game are through the roof, yet what Saban frowns upon shall be done. Dude has a magic wand.

there is no chance A&M is on the same level as Ole Miss.
not even close.

that's over 100 years of consistent hatred there.
rather than 60 games of "on again ; off again".

It should be Ole Miss, Florida, and Auburn (maybe A&M).

Boo.

Would’ve rathered Alabama than A&M.

I don’t like this “rivalry” they keep trying to make.

JFK was still alive the last time Alabama didn't play all 3 of those in the same season.

Our opponents should have been bama, Florida, and Auburn. I wouldn’t have minded Texas. Though if it was Texas it would’ve been a permanent away game.
