Are we talking about Primeaux? In his 3 previous outings this season he has given up 2 hits, 2 walks, 0 runs, and 4 strikeouts facing 11 batters. No terrible outings until today, the last game was not particularly good but no earned runs were given up.

In his time at LSU he has never once looked good against power conference opponents.

That trend continued today.

Prior to today Primeaux had 2 appearances against power conference teams.

One in the regular season and one in the SEC tournament.

His combined line was 1 IP, 1 H, 1 BB, 2 K.

You're full of shite.

So who do we have in the bullpen besides Cowan and Evan’s that appears reliable?

Jay cannot go one inning without talking to the umpires about something.

What does reaves currently bring to the table? Genuinely curious
Was juco AA and had a good fall.

People not happy with Jay’s personnel decisions, but it’s part of Jay’s game. He gets/retains all this great talent by saying everyone gets a chance to earn a spot . Then he backs that up by playing everyone early. In the process Jay learns exactly what he has in each individual so that things are ready to roll when SEC play starts.

To say it louder for those in the back. The season doesn’t start until SEC play.

If there’s no clear cut superior bat, Jay is going to play L/R matchups in high impact AB’s. Can’t fault him there.

I didn't like pulling Braswell b/c of his defense, but I get it. HOWEVER, Stanfield is batting .345, and he's your best defensive outfielder. You shouldn't pull him there. Shuffling outfielders is not a good idea (e.g. Brown in the regionals). Players get comfortable, and subtle differences matter especially in a new park that you aren't used to.

It was a two fold decision of not wanting Braswell to bat there either

Not great when some of your hottest hitters late last year start the season ice cold.

I get the rotations to try to build depth, but it sure would be nice to let your actual starters build confidence before conference play. Jay is riding an extremely fine line. I would hate the pressure of managing this team.

He is, he spouted off BS and then tried to obfuscate hoping no one remembered or checked him on it.

Flyout to Brown in right!

Another flyout to Josh Pearson in left!

Can you tell I'm having issues, or TD is?
