I don’t understand warming a guy up for 20 minutes to throw 2 or 3 pitches. Unless it was going to be his bullpen day anyway.

Not sure about the shift. L-L matchup. If it’s a ground ball, it will be rolled over and softly hit to 2nd. Just like that. Play straight up.

JJ way overthinks the pitchers and plays match ups too often. At some point he has to ride them longer like Hurd though I'm not sure I'd ride coop tbh.
