Coleman missed bad on three pitches in a row. Grooved one to get a strike and it was crushed. Pitching hurt us but all those stranded runners are the difference in this game.

People are naturally going to get upset about the Coleman situation, but 4 runs with over a dozen strikeouts against a 3-14 SEC team's Sunday staff isn't going to cut it.

You stretch Coleman if you’re up ten. Not in a tie game where you’re going for a sweep.

I don’t question jay much but there was no reason to pitch Coleman today. Period

Actually, if you win 2 in a row without losing 2 in a row (which we haven't done yet) is the perfect recipe to get through Omaha.

Exactly. It's been any eye opening weekend for several teams that appeared "Omaha ready."

Yea bad approach at the plate and bad decisions on base and by JJ

I wouldn't have even brought him back out for the 8th. Thought for sure they'd take him out after the walk. Did he just want a LHP to keep an eye on the guy on 1st? That one's on Jay

Think now that they have the lead, the ump will quit fricking us on ball 4s for the 9th?

Watching Coleman he still has work to do to come back. His control is not there. The fastball is the one pitch you need to control in order to be effective

It is not out of the realm of possibility that LSU comes back and takes the lead in the top of the 9th and Guidry shuts it down to get the save

This game is 100% on Jay and the lineup. Including Tommy if he is in fact hung over

Bullpen strikes again!
This is the best game 3 pitching lsu has gotten. It's not getting better than this.
The lineup has zero clutch factor today and has so many unproductive outs due to strikeouts.

I think his pitch count was a very specific 30 pitches...all fastballs.
