That’s the concern. They shot it very well and still lost because of terrible 3 point defense and rebounding. Those were big issues last year. They were reasons for concern going into this season. Those preseason concerns have quickly become reality.
No team is going to shoot it well every night. But teams that rebound and defend always give themselves a chance. I just don’t know if this team can do that

We were getting outrebounded and out physicalled by an NAIA school (LCU) in the scrimmage. Our leading rebounder that game got a redshirt.

A loss today sets the Tigers likely head-on into Towson. Don't remember LSU-Towson ever in a basketball game, but LSU football got a scare from Towson back in 2012.
