A series doesn’t seem like much in LSU baseball lore . But this one certainly mattered to stop some of the bleeding .

I know this team hasn't shown us much this year, but we're LSU. I still trust Jay to eventually figure it out.
After surviving the loser's bracket last year to win the CWS, salvaging this year to at least be respectable with progress to build on is certainly still within reach.
I think we can sweep Auburn next week. Then, who knows?

Also I’m going to sound like mega positiger but win the auburn series and I think we at least get one from Aggie, just feels like huge upset potential. They’re due for a wtf series like most great teams and we are desperate

If someone told me LSU would go 2-1 this weekend, but the game we lose is with Holman on the mound, I would have been very skeptical.

We need to win whatever games we can. We don't have the luxury of saving him every weekend this year. We dont have any other bullpen arms we can trust to close out a close game. Use him with a close lead first chance you get. We aren't going to be run ruling many teams on Fridays like we did this weekend
