I don’t like how Mainieri takes off the bunt every time with 2 strikes. Make them execute

I know a high school coach that would make his younger travel ball players bunt with 2 strikes. He would holler out “you are still bunting.” They seemed to always execute it with 2 strikes...haha

Everything I’ve posted about how bad our bunting is has surfaced this game. You kept saying it’s hard, you need s good eye, etc.
Watch the players, they use poor form. They square late or not at all. They punch at it.

Exactly. It’s a pride thing. It’s embarrassing to K on three failed bunt attempts so players are usually much more focused to get it down with 2 strikes
