I do not understand why NIL is not a contract situation including the clause “you play in ALL the games.”
Can players from the Saints and other eliminated teams “opt out”? The Lions were just eliminated so I guess Jared Goff and Jahmyr Gibbs should opt out of the “meaningless” final game. But no. I’m sure their contracts prohibit that.
