I think we're fine at TE with Bech, Kole, and Mashburn plus Mason Taylor coming in. Mashburn can easily be development into a hybrid similar to (not as good as) Bech. Put some weight on Kole. I do still think we'll bring in another TE, probably developmental recruit and not from the portal. But, who knows.

OFF will go as far as the OL facilitates. Betting SOPH WR group makes even a bigger impact next season.

DEF needs some LBs to step up, and/or transfer in.

Lot of youth and inexp (regarding PT) across that depth chart. Time to show what you got.

I thought they were looking at Fitzgerald West for C not NT.

I thought Fitzgerald West is being recruited as a center?

Thank you @Rum_Ham; you are correct.

LSU offered West as a center following a standout performance at the Tigers' camp in June.

I will update the images accordingly.

but I don't even think we can look at it until the attrition is finished and the addition from the recruiting class and the portal begins.

That chart is based on current players at LSU as of 12/9/21. It gives us a sense of what the program looks like today. The depth chart is fluid and will change daily based on the decisions by 18-20 yr old kids.

I'd like to see a chart next week after the early NSD and again in February 2022. It's a shame OL like A. Perry and K. Thomas have been here for 3 years and have not developed into serviceable backups

edit: the depth chart also gives us a look at what positions CBK has to focus on and sign players from the portal. OL and LB depth are very much needed.

Mason Smith is a WDE in the 3-4 and DT in the 4-3. He aint playing the 5tech in the 4-3.

I feel like Bech should be listed in the slot WR group in addition to TE.

The kickers should add 3 more. Plus a long snapper?

That's 9 win talent. If we can help ourselves from the portal and gel, we can get to 11 wins.

Need York to stick around 2 more years and start his masters degree.

I didn't see Austin Deculus at right tackle. He can't come back for 10th year?

Kole needs a lot more than weight. Desire to block someone goes a long way.
Go back and watch film this year. Anytime he is in the game we were unable to run the ball with backs or jet sweeps. Dude won’t even get in front of DBs or Safety’s.
Blows my mind. Not the LSU way. Our best teams have had skill players that are willing to block to help the team
