It’s obvious these guys read too much of their press clippings over the fall and were not hungry during the offseason to prepare for this coming up season. They’re playing like complete shite and making mistakes Division I athletes (especially in the SEC) should never make. I understand errors are going to happen, but the errors they’re making are unacceptable. Jay better start making some of these players accountable, or he doesn’t have a hair on his arse.

A lot of SEC programs passed on him.

You’re clueless. He was committed to Ole Miss for a while.

We need some time to reset but we do not have it.

I’m not even that worried about the runs besides Cooper and Cowan.

4 games in 5 days will push a staff but the bats going ice cold for over a week is awful

We should! His team looks like the directional school and is making their opponents look like the #2 team. Frustrating as hell.

I’m not complaining, but we don’t exactly play an early schedule that keeps guys locked in either. Although that’s not an excuse for tonight.

There’s a lot of local talent Jay skips over. He prefers national recruiting but I would’ve taken Pruitt who was electric at Live Oak over some of the pitchers we currently have from Minnesota, Cali, etc

They view it as not worth the risk. The potential of your team is much higher if you go get somebody who is more talented and can eventually fully realize their potential while at LSU.

So they pulled his offer? Or did he choose ULL?

Wanted an LSU offer. Came on a visit, met Skenes, wanted to be closer to home.
