Gio got screwed on those first two pitches. First one was low second he didn’t go around.

Bianco is not the bat I want in the lineup for the DH.

Do we have any steals on the year?

So guys with major league aspirations are upset with the lineup so they miss pop ups?

You think defense just fricking *happens*? No.

This shite is hard. It takes a mindset and it takes work. Both of which are imparted by the coaching staff and both of which are clearly lacking.

I never said they were “upset”. I said that the head coach shows every game that defense isn’t important by who he chooses to play. Why make working on defense a priority if it isn’t going to get you on the field?

Bianco batting 0.071

Not quite as well as he was hitting in 2020 when he hit a whopping 0.076.

You think the team can’t sniff that out? If he doesn’t care they don’t make it a priority and you get what you’ve seen all year.

I disagree completely. Anyone who’s played baseball cares about all aspects. It looks really bad on a player to say they don’t care about it no matter how the coach treats it.

That botched pop up was as much on McManus as any wine. Why was he not underneath it calling for the ball?
Yeah once he threw the mask at the only other player with a chance to make the play he should have taken control.

I did just turn it on so I must have missed it. Either way we really don’t put guys in motion much.

Good.

I know he’s going to hit a foul ball a fricking mile and then strike out on the next pitch, but I’m okay with that.

There’s only 24 hours in a day. You still have class and homework. You have a limited number of hours to work on your craft.

Your coach has repeatedly shown that he will always play offense over defense. What skill are you working on?

We rely on hit batsmen for base runners. We can’t afford to run ourselves out of an inning.
