Jay was touted to have the best high school recruiting class

But is it even better than Auburn’s?

One thing is for certain. Whatever happens today will definitely answer that question.

Umm I don’t believe. Hernandez has a windup to his swing which makes it seem very slow and lethargic

The worst part about a dismal weekend like this is that instead of level-headed and insightful reactions and commiserating over things not going our way, everyone rushes to share the most negative and over-reactionary takes that they can manage.

I thought the worst part was the LOSING.

Fralick up, runner at 1st, 2 outs

ball low outside 1-0
grounded foul 1-1
Yeski mound visit
pick off attempt at 1st, safe
pop out to CF, great diving catch by Curiel, inning over

Curiel is definitely the shortest swing. Milam and Brown probably next.

Luis drives his arm back and straightens his front arm too much, in my opinion. He puts plenty behind it, but restricts his bat to stay in the zone. The motion looks long.

Bottom of the pack performance this weekend. Can’t have many of these
Need a reset something fierce.
Looks like TAMU has life and who knows what you can get with Bama. Tenner and Arky await.

You are. They are a solid SEC team

Said they were a top 25 2 seed type team. That’s a solid team. They are not a true top 6 sec team because of lack of talent. They do a lot of nice things and they may over achieve to that point because that’s baseball

Just give me a part where I am wrong on my lack of talent evaluation. I said they are not THAT good. Their run scoring is down all this weekend with everything going their way. We are playing that bad. Their pitching is not this good.

Seeing an entire three games at home when all is going well is a pretty good sample size to get a feel for flashes of raw talent in SEC play. They are mostly good and poking the ball around which is awesome. Know who you are. There is not any overwhelming talent around and the pitching especially is likely going to cost them when you need that to come through in postseason which is why I don’t like this team to even get out of a regional.

None of that matters when swing at a ball two feet off the plate

I know people get angry and want to lash out during these kind of games, but the reality is we are playing subpar, and AU is a solid squad.
