There are going to be 11 teams left for 9 spots imo if LSU goes 2-1 in the next 3. Let’s say they beat Texas and Tennessee.
Miami, UGA, and Boise are locked in basically imo.
UCLA, Indiana, Utah get in.
So 8 for 6:
BYU (Utah probably knocks them out for good-NEED Utah to beat them or else they’re probably both getting in)
Alabama
Ole Miss
Kentucky (@tenn, @mizzou, Florida-can see them losing 2/3 with the pressure on)
LSU
Texas Tech
Wake (need SMU to beat them)
Notre Dame (SMU and Miami could beat them)
I’d include SMU but don’t see them going 2-0 vs ND and Wake
Regardless there is a very realistic path to make the playoffs.

I disagree. Otherwise they can't continue to overvalue Notre Dame.
If Notre Dame beats Miami, which is certainly a possibility, BYU's case will only be strengthened.
