I have to disagree with Heather who I have no clue is. I think they put BYU closer to 12 so they can bounce them with one more loss. Possibly ND too. They don’t give a crap about ranking for a game like Miami and ND this week.

I'm going to do a strength of record analysis on the top 7 teams later. I started with Utah, and their best win is a narrow victory over #18 Houston (lol) who's best win is a bad unranked 5-3 Oklahoma State team.

There is no way for it to not look absurd imo. There is no dominant team this season, Georgia and LSU may be the actual best teams. By many metrics we are a top 5 team but no one’s putting 6-2 LSU ahead of undefeated teams from “power” conferences
