Let Shores end the inning and Evans pitch the 9th. Cowan doesn’t need to pitch again this season unless LSU is down big and needs innings eaten like game 2 vs Florida.

I like the fact that Coop looks disappointed that he is being taken out. I like that kind of competitiveness. Coop did a bang-up job there.

And then look how Jake Brown reacted to essentially putting the game away with his bomb. Calmly dropped his bat, gave a wave to the student section, ran the bases and celebrated with his teammates. I’m all for fire and energy but you can’t forget that there is a right way to play the game.
