Sorry you're poor.

I gave up my southeast Endzone tickets because the campus environment sucks
Yeah, the campus environment sucks so badly that scores of people come to campus on gameday to party and tailgate, but actually don't have tickets and DON"T GO TO THE GAME ITSELF.
quote:
You can’t tailgate without being 50 miles from campus.
Geez, I tailgate EVERY GAME ON campus, and don't pay a fee to do so. And there's still room to do so.

The concessions suck arse.
Concessions? Who needs concessions when you have consumed all that great tailgate food and drink before the game? Sounds like you're doing it wrong.

A majority of the games are rent-a-wins
That's just factually wrong. There are always 4 home SEC games, which aren't "rent-a-wins". There are typically 3 rent-a-win home games each season. 3 is not a majority of 7 (or 8) home games.

I got great tickets for $65 a pop. The max is $275 and the lowest level is $50.
Nope !!

Since you're such an avid defender of LSU season tix, why don't you explain why they still have season tix available 2-3 months before the start of the season...with a brand new coach.

I'm glad to see this market "adjust" if that's what's happening, LSU and the TAF have extorted LSU fans for decades, ticket prices, tailgaiting, the nations shittiest concession and restroom setup, they've always gouged because they can yet are too fricking greedy to improve the product

The school's politics turned me off, and then having to disclose your medical status was the last straw. Done.

Jesus. Good riddance. Exaggerate much? What a miserable person you must be. We’re better off without you. Go in peace.

Three of the 7 games (Southern, New Mexico, UAB) really aren't worth the hassle of attending.
I’m hoping we can develop a fan base that values these games as professional development opportunities for players that are worth watching. Do other players shine in these games? Do our star players continue to give their all in these games? How does our depth look in these games?
If all you’re looking for is marketable team matchups for entertainment, there’s a lot of room for growth in becoming a better LSU football fan.

High cost of Lower level
Inflation is kicking everyone’s arse. We’re about to be paying $12 for a carton of eggs and gas is still going up.
Bowing down to every single woke anti-American idea that Woodward can find. Don't forget Woodward and his love for BLM.

And your Democrat in the governors mansion once wanted to hold hostage FB. The bullshite continues on with the high $$$ inflation

I remember when I was excited just to be on the waiting list. Now they can’t even sell out the lowers.
I had tickets for 26 straight years until this year. Some it is I am getting older and don't feel like going to every game. But mostly it is that its just not worth it anymore. Tailgating isn't the same and even a shadow of what it was. Parking is insane and in stadium atmosphere is a shell of itself.
Posted on 6/8/22 at 8:42 pm to jbraua
To me it’s the restricted Tailgating. It takes a ton of the draw away from the game day experience.
I’m still a season ticket holder, but have considered dropping them because of the game day restrictions. I will forever feel cheated by Joe Alleva.

Reading these posts, it’s clear my game day experience is a lot different than y’all. I still look forward to and enjoy game day.
I park in the lot early AM, setup my canopy, tv, and cooking equipment behind my car, and just enjoy the afternoon drinking beer, cooking, and watching the day games with a couple friends all day before going into the stadium. I’m not being bothered by any “tailgating restrictions” or anything else that’s ruining y’all game day experience. I’ll be honest, I don’t even know what restrictions y’all are referring to. I still do the same thing I did 15 years ago.
It’s actually quite enjoyable being away from the wife and kids for a day. I can’t think of a better way to spend a Saturday.

LSU season ticket renewals are at an all time high. Yes, there are several single ticket available in the lower bowl, but that happens every year. Premium seats and overall season tickets are up. It is a great time to be a Tiger. Expectations are high. Don't listen to these naysayers. They don't have the inside information and don't have the good seats. Keep on bitching, just not in Tiger Stadium.

I'm with you man, just upgraded my seats this year from 2 to 4. I get sometimes you might just want to watch on TV, but I love being on campus and in the stadium.

Yep I got 6 in the south endzone thanks to who ever gave them up. Geaux Tigers

I am with you. This is why I have renewed this year. A true fan (that has been lucky enough to experience Tiger Stadium) knows that there is nothing like that stadium.
But LSU is pushing people too far. Personally, I can say that the blm stuff is beyond dumb, but the political crap is the second reason I have considered giving up my tix for a few years now. Number one is traffic leaving my parking lot. For a prime time Saturday night kickoff, it will take 1-2 hours just to get to River Rd. Only then can I begin my drive to Metairie.
If there was a way to minimize that traffic, I can rationalize not allowing some political BS to stop me from enjoying something I love.
One guy’s opinion.

How long have you worked for the ticket office?

Can’t be complaining about how much it costs when you willingly spend $8+ per beer lol

I enjoy the heck of out game day and tailgating. I know the concessions are bad and we don't have enough bathrooms. especially since they started selling beer. I don't care about the concessions because we cook great food and I don't need food at the game. I just need a good cold Coke for my bourbon.
I don't know what to do about the traffic plan. We have an issue with to many people trying to leave a place with roads not built for that many people.
