And are you telling me a guy like Herman or Jimbo wouldnt make a big difference in expectations for the Offense?
Did people watch Herman's shite of an offense at Texas last year? Or how pitiful FSU's OL has been for years?
LSU could have done better than O, but it's year 2 and the guy has his chance.

He certainly does. Time will tell.
I just don't want any excuses this year.

how did Jimbo's team do last season.

Mett made numerous terrific throws in his 2 yrs here. Particularly in his senior season. Your opinion is just that. An opinion. It's also full of shite. He threw open his receivers many a time and had timing down. Dude didn't pass for 3000+ by fricking accident.
Also, not fricking retarded enough to be married. Blah blah blah "your mom"

Frick yalls expectations, I don't give two shits about yalls expectations.
The results will be what they'll be no matter who expects what. Who do y'all think you are?! The hires have been made, it's time to put up or shut up. Yalls crying bitching and moaning won't change a thing.

The offensive line when healthy and complete with all recruits will be the best offensive line since 2011.

I believe this team is going to surprise some of you negative don’t know shite dicks and stomp the wheels off Miami right off the bat.

Neither will yours, but it is interesting that you fail to see that you are doing the very same thing you are complaining bout.

LSU could have done better than O, but
See...the problem here is the "but."
It presumes that even though we ALL KNOW that we could have done much better than Ole Miss' worst coach in their history to follow not one but TWO successive coaches who won National titles at our program, we are now being told, "Sure...it's was a bad hire...but can't we just sit back and hope for it not to turn out as shitty as the hire indicates it will...?"
No. Doing so gives the impression that we were all on board with the hire even you conclude was far less than we could have gotten. We have had our prgram's hands tied behind its back by this VERY underwhelming hire at a time when the SEC has reloaded in terms of coaching talent, and suggesting we all ought to sit quietly in the corner while the house burns down around us seems like thew kind of advice that would be proffered by the very people holding the gas can and matches.
Also, for all intents and purposes, this is Year 3. Orgeron coached all but for games of the 2016 season. If people want to give him total credit for what they consider some huge turnaround the tail end of that year (I'd disagree there was any, but whatever) then they must also accept that he's well beyond what would have been the beginning of Season 2 under a new coach that would have come in after the 2016 season ended.

So a proven Offensive coordinator and Head coach that worked wonders with multiple QBs including winning a national title with a redshirt freshman would not have any more belief from fans in improving this offense than a coach that hasn't been an OC in nearly 20 years, and failed when he was one? On top of that a guy that hasn't coached QBs into anything worth a damn in that same timeframe? Some of you O supporters are beyond ridiculous.
If there were any way to prove it, I would bet that if either Jimbo or Herman had been hired and produced the same results, the people that wanted either of them hired would be saying "give him more time!"
Some of you O-negatives are beyond ridiculous.

It doesn’t matter who you are, if they lost to a sun belt team people are going to be sharpening their knives.
And don’t bring up ULM or UAB
We had an infinitely better team than 2000 LSU or 2007 Alabama. Just not inifitiwntl better results.
All you have is your results. And O’s results get him a much shorter rope than Fisher, Saban or Herman.

Right. With FOUR freshmen offensive linemen in for one play against Florida and three for most of the game; and a crippled defensive line as well.
At full strength, you may be right. With as many injuries as they were dealing with early in the season, I seriously doubt any coach would have gotten out unscathed. But those are just "excuses," right? You will never accept that there is a difference between reasons and excused.

We went 4-8 in 1999
Deculus playing PART of a game against Florida doesn’t excuse us shitting the bed completely vs Troy St.
There is a difference e between unscathed and losing to a sun belt team.

...because BOTH have a proven track record of success at their previous stops, and BOTH would have ACTUALLY been completely first year coaches with nearly every coach on staff new as well.
Orgeron kept Miles' DC and most of the staff and produced essentially the same type of season (except for the embarrassing losses we never had under Miles to such teams like State and a C-USA program) that was what infuriating fans about the previous regime.
That was BEFORE he fired his own hand picked OC after 12 months and replaced him with Les Miles' TE coach who had not been a full time OC anywhere since the Clinton Administration.
So...of course a new head coach with a new staff would get some lead time. the whole point of hiring Orgeron from within was that we were poised to compete RIGHT NOW and the only change needed was at the top. This move to now act like we were in some shitty rebuilding phase when Orgeron took over is just revisionism at its highest.

Now we are dealing with the unknown.
After miles was here a couple years, I knew he was clueless, and I had no hope.
I won't judge O for his 1st HC job at Ole Miss, over a Decade ago.

The best offense we've seen from Ed was remnants of Miles in '16, and it wasn't as good statistically as 2015.
Fact of the matter is the further removed from Mies LSU tenure, the worse it gets.
Miles also owns the majority of the top 5 teams in practically all of LSU offensive categories, 4/5 spots in some cases, iirc.......so when you shite on Miles you pretty much shite on LSU football.
Look it up in the Media Guide before calling me a Miles _____lover, licker, or whatever.

Miles' Record:
2005: 11-2
2006: 11-2
2007: 12-2 NC
If that's clueless, I'll take it.

So...we can't judge Orgeron by the only other time ANY football team gave him the keys to their program...but we can call Les Miles' first few years "clueless" despite the 34-6 record and a National Title.
Any more tidbits?

sorry but I would take
ensminger as OC if those are the 3 choices. I liked his style and play calling in the interim ( even with that short glimpse) much more than what those 2 do on offense.
At the time I did what Herman but am now glad we didn't get him. Never wanted Fisher. Still like Fleck. Still like O.
