The way we played the first 6 games no loses we’re freak. We sucked for like the first half the season.

We just played a bunch of even worse teams.

Anyone who could put anything together shitpumped us

yes it took a little while to get rollin (Canada offense combined with injuries, transfers, and suspensions with a new staff) but once we got going we really got going (until the bowl game which we outplayed them but defense came apart late for some reason).

This season Canadas gone plus we don't have those thinness issues in the trenches. Great times to be a tiger fan

If we get off to another slow start then what will the excuse be?

Idk Lawrence goes down and we’re back to playing Farrell and Logan.

We have bodies but do you think we have quality backups at the DLine? Huge drop off from the 1s to the 2s at DE.

No experience QB RB
Our OC has never run his own offense before.
We are playing WRs at CB, and taking grad transfers to have like 5 CB elligable.

But hey we got 5 DTs in this class, so woo

sorry I'm not nostrodamis. I can't comment on the reason something happened when it hasn't happened. If it happens then I will no doubt give my input into the situation

I wish O had half the coaching I.Q. of Miles.

If Mile has such a High coaching I.Q., and he doesn't. Why does he not have a coaching job? Because he wants nothing more, then to be a college coach.

After miles was here a couple years, I knew he was clueless, and I had no hope.

Miles' Record:

2005: 11-2
2006: 11-2
2007: 12-2 NC

If that's clueless, I'll take it.

I won't judge O for his 1st HC job at Ole Miss, over a Decade ago.

So...we can't judge Orgeron by the only other time ANY football team gave him the keys to their program...but we can call Les Miles' first few years "clueless" despite the 34-6 record and a National Title.

Any more tidbits?

Sure I have more. In those 3 years, Miles had 19 players drafted to the NFL. I don't know if it is the most, but I bet it is top 3 at worst. However, it is most likely the best. That said, he had more talent than every other team, but still lost 2 games every year. One of those games was to an unranked Arkansas team at home. Clueless maybe extream, but the separation between Miles and O is not much. One could even argue that O would have beaten Auburn and Wisconsin in 16, making him better than Miles.

One's greatest accomplishment is a 9 win season. The other's is a national title.

"Not much separation"

Not a single person on the planet could logically make this argument.

One could. One could also argue that Miles would have beaten Florida in 16. One could argue that Miles would have beaten Bama in 16. One could argue that Miles would have beaten Mississippi State, Troy and Notre Dame in 17.

One could argue lots of things.

making him better than Miles.

You bet. Miles went 142-55 at Oklahoma State and LSU with a winning percentage of .721%, and was 9-6 in bowl games.

Orgeron has gone 20-29 at Ole Miss and LSU for a winning percentage of .408 and is 1-1 in bowl games.

If you want to toss in o's interim record while at USC and LSU, his record is 31-33 for a winning percentage of a whopping .484% and his bowl record remains at 1-1.

Yeahm cj, those numbers sure do show that o is a better coach than Miles.

So you just want to overlook the fact he had the most talent, playing with a loaded deck, following the best coach in College football history.

Still had to back into the NC. The ONLY coach in BCS history to play in a title game with 2 losses.

With the program Saban built, ANYONE was going to come in and win.

Why not, Miles left and the Offense set records. I have no reason to think O would have loss said games, when a Miles offense, that was soooo bad, played both teams so close.

My guess is, we both agree had Guice not gone the wrong way VS Florida we win that game also.

None of what I am saying is predicting what the future holds, but O is not the coach that he was at Ole Miss. I think his 2 years he has been at LSU and his season he led USC shows this.

And are you telling me a guy like Herman or Jimbo wouldnt make a big difference in expectations for the Offense?
Well, Sterling Gilbert was an acceptable alternative at OC and was ready to come to LSU, but O didn't want his OL Coach too, so that was axed early on.

(Many teams have 2 OL Coaches; Guards/Centers with one coach and Tackles/TE's with the other)
