Good for Brady. He should have an agent. Armstrong is a great one.

I always laugh at this, and it is the downfall of so many good employees. Just because you are good at a particular aspect of something doesn't mean you would be good at running the entire company.
What's your point as it pertains to Brady? That he shouldn't think about it because there's a chance he might not be a good HC?
Of course everyone's not cut out for it. But you don't know until you actually try.

Someone might try and take Lincoln Riley change on him
Lincoln Riley spent 9 years as an assistant at TTU, ECU and then OU.
This is basically year 3 for Brady. Year 4+ if you include a year of LB coach at William & Mary.

As he should. I think the language on a new deal is worth watching closely as well (buyout, etc.).

Trace is a ginormous glans.
Bend over LSU.

He won't be here forever but I'd be surprised if he jumped after one season. He's just about to get paid, which I have no problem with.

Brady beat Bama and ran the gauntlet. No problem paying the man. What more could we have asked for this year? Too many streaks and records were broken to count.

What % of the plays has Brady called this year, compared to O.
I don’t know the answer. My observation is the increase in production this year versus last year. The biggest difference is Joe Brady, but Burrow having more time to develop with his receivers, 10,000 catches, Clyde’s progression, Thad Moss’ health are factors as well.

That's more surprising than the fact he's signed with one now.
To be honest, it’s not to much. NFL analysts are probably making $60-70k a year and hiring an agent isn’t a thought. It probably wasn’t a thought when LSU hired him because no one probably thought he would become this hot of a commodity in 6-7 months.

Brady is 30. If you look at Brady's resume, any school that hires Brady as coordinator is just throwing away money.
Brady is in a unique position. "Co-coordinator?" I don't know of any other co-coordinator in the country. I don't imagine calling plays real game time for an elite college football program is normally a team effort.
I have no idea how to coach a football team or how to run a college football program. I do know you don't build office building for just the office space. There are at least a moderate number of people working for the LSU football program.
Moreover, I have no idea how we got Brady to LSU but from what I gather is that Coach O and Coach Peyton have a personal friendship and Coach Peyton recommended Brady to Coach O. I assume looking at Brady's resume that Coach Peyton also recommended to Coach O to Brady.
Brady likely has an interest in a sort of mentorship from Coach O and Coach Ensminger. I'm guessing that Brady has a very specialize role in Coach O's LSU football program. He needs an agent to figure out fair compensation for this specialize role. He should also expect the agent to roll out the red carpet, because this is likely a new opportunity for the agent as well.
I don't think he's going to leave anytime soon because I don't think it's in his interest to leave. Money is temporary the opportunity to make a major career jump at 30 years old is priceless. I give Brady credit for being smart.

All we really need to do is pay him enough to keep him one more year and stop this from being a distraction during the playoff preparations.
Just make sure he knows we'll make it worth his while if he's patient for one more year before cashing out big time.

Big raise and Co-Offensive Coordinator incoming. Probably paid more than his counterpart and a committed time frame for him to be the sole OC.
All well-deserved by the way.

no one knows the % of playing between Ensminger and Brady

Trace Armstrong is a former Gator, DL, and represent Urban Meyer and Mike McCarthy. He is all about the dollars for his clients as most good agents would do these days. He was also the agent that played LSU against Texas for Herman by driving the salary of the coach up. Then former LSU, AD, J. Alleva told him where to go. We just need Coach Brady signed before National Signing date to avoid negative recruiting.
