Gameday just won't be the same without watching Lee don the Tiger Head!

Impossible to say. I tend to agree with you but Aggies at Notre Dame is not something you will see every year so I could see them going there

I looked up and they went to College Station for that game last year.

Game day will be here. We have early season hype and it’s easily best match up of the week. Herbie will also be calling the game, not that it matters that much but it just makes sense.

Wouldn't be surprised if they go to Ga Tech Clemson to give them an excuse to go to Ga Tech

Wouldn't surprise me if they go to the ND vs aTm game. Simply because it's ND.

They are going to ND. They only show up at LSU when they think we will lose.

That would make twice in two weeks.

If we stay unbeaten going into Oxford will be the spot the following week.

Possibly. They could also be looking ahead and try to save us and Florida for weekends later on. SC @ LSU should also be the biggest game on 10/11. Texas A&M @ LSU on 10/25 could also be the biggest game of that weekend.

So educate me a little.

I knew how CBS picked their games for a time slot. Does ESPn do it the same way?

Is 2:30 still the #1 game for that on ESPN or is it the 6:30 game?

I know for CBS 2:30 was the marquee game of the day in the SEC.

No ESPN/ABC will usually choose the best game in the night slot, 2nd best game in the 2:30 slot, 3rd best in the 11am slot. However, since ABC, ESPN, and SEC Network or all under the same umbrella, they have a lot more flexibility with timeslot across the 3 networks.

The SEC and ESPN/ABC announced the schedule for the conference for the first three weeks a couple of months ago.

Every team has known the start time and TV for their first three games.

They also announced kickoff “windows” for several other games. LSU will be at night against SLU, WKU, and Alabama. Early kickoffs against Arkansas and at Vandy.

The ABC night game is typically the marquee game. Texas/OU and UF/UGA are both 2:30 kickoffs, so occasionally the afternoon game (particularly those two neutral site rivalries) might be considered the marquee game that week.

As for whether ESPN will choose LSU-UF (ABC) or South Bend for ND-A&M (NBC) for GameDay. Those two games kick off at the same time. I doubt Disney will pick South Bend for GameDay to promote a game battling for viewers against their marquee game of the week.
