If you are projecting a rebuild with Nuss in mind
I’m not projecting a rebuild. But I saw what Kelly, Denbrock and Sloan did this offseason with Daniels and don’t know why they can’t do something similar with Nuss.
He’s obviously got a different skill set but I I wouldn’t just write him off.
He’s shown flashes of something special. Granted he’s also made some really bad plays too but o think he’s got a high ceiling especially with a full offseason, spring and fall camp as #1

Competition is healthy, especially at QB. Fans always connote a QB competition as a negative thing but it’s not. I haven’t said anything negative about Nuss but they are going to push him whether he likes it or not.

8-4 next year will be deemed a good season based on the talent on the field, especially at QB.
Y'all set your expectations accordingly.

It’s going to be Nuss…and I’m not knocking our guys. But Seems a little illogical to think losing the should be heisman and should be Biletnikoff winner won’t put us a step back
How do we know that Nuss won't be in the Heisman discussion next year? Look at the leap Daniels made, how do we know that Nuss hasn't made those leaps too? Sure he won't be able to run like JD5, but he won't have to. WR? Well, that is an unknown, but somebody always steps up.

It can't be a rebuild unless we know who the quarterback is? That makes such little sense I don't even know where to begin. Enjoy your logic

I’d take Fifita and McMillain from ASU and see how things fall out. If we don’t, I bet FSU or Miami or a few others would.

If we go 8 and 4 it won't be because of the QB jackass

Jackson is a key guy for the offense next year. Holly could be important.

Will have the best offensive line in the country. Not worried.

8-4 is best case scenario. I’d give a midget a handjob to guarantee that

Best case scenario is undefeated.

The Oline will be the biggest strength next season. I imagine the offense will lean more on the traditional run game with more carries to the backs. I also imagine the passing offense to utilize the screen game more as an extension of the run game.

Last year was a rebuild but we won the West so tbh I’m not really sure what to expect

we need more team players like you

We have plenty to work with. Just remember Daniels developed into the player he is right now. Nussmeier is a well groomed player. He will be used differently, more play action and less RPO, I think, but potentially just as effectively.

I realize that’s the hope, but what would the 2023 team have looked like without Daniels
What did the 2022 team look like with him?
Kelly earned the benefit of the doubt for developing offensive talent. Let’s see what he does about defense in the offseason

Both of these are true statements. There is sometimes a caveat regarding ego but that does not seem to apply, at least not to a significant degree, with Nuss or Colins (nor did it with Brennan, I think).

Because I know your way of stating things, I knew that you did not mean to imply anything of the sort. However, I also see how someone else may have inferred you meant that Nuss is just not good enough.

The team is set to lose very little outside of the QB & two stud WRs.
A rebuild is usually constituted when you have a mass loss of players from your roster.
I understand the importance and reliance on Jayden Daniels & Nabers/Thomas, but transfer portal at QB is a great tool to use to make sure you don't lose a year to "rebuilding".

Afraid LSU is going to be so so bad next year. Losing 90% of the offense & defense will have to be completely rebuilt. Little faith in Brian Kelly to complete that rebuild adequately considering his inability to recruit quality defensive players.

Next year will be a step back in terms of the # of wins.
