The team that that is more able to make big offensive plays against their own tendencies will win.

I think it’s going to be a shoot out and would not be surprised if both teams score over 40. I do think we have the advantage at QB, even as good as Lawrence is. Joe is exceptional at decision making. He won’t be fooled by Venables’s defense like Justin Fields was this year and Tua was last year. He’s gonna eat Clemson’s secondary for lunch. LSU 55-45
I agree with this and pretty much everything you said before this.
Your prediction of 55-45 would get you slaughtered on here. Hell, most don’t even believe Clemson is the best team we’ll face and that’s what is truly ridiculous.

It’ll be exciting to see them versus a 3-4 again
Considering we’ve been more of a 40 front the past month I don’t think you’re going to see a bunch of 3-4. But I’m sure you picked that up in your “film” studies.

UGA had a couple wideouts not playing, that does nothing to change the fact our D line smothered what still considered one of the best run games and Offensive lines in the game.

Clemson has two guys who are equal to the best WRs to come out of the SEC in the last 20 years?
You analyzed our games vs our best competition but didn’t mention their game with UNC. Interesting.
The game will probably be close but your analysis is dumb.

AND OUR DEFENSE AGREES.
Why do you keep saying this? Because rashard Lawrence said it, which means absolutely shite and is 1 person...not "our defense"

Our defense has been playing lights out lately, so yeah I didn’t read half your crap you posted because it’s just a big pile of turd. No one says Clemson is bad. But most aren’t blowing them like you think they are Gods team. Our offense is unbelievable and they won’t be able to stop it PERIOD

I think Ohio State’s defense is better than ours, but we have definitely played a tougher schedule, so I’m definitely being subjective.
I love our defense and they’ve made amazing strides. If anything, I’d say our defense is very underrated (I’ve already refuted the Ole Miss game and that the Texas/Bama games were not indicative of the scores).
I just don’t think they’re as good as OSU. I’d consider it a late Christmas present if they are. Actually, I even say that desperately hope they’re that good.

They may be the most “complete team” but that doesn’t mean their defense or offense is the best we’ve faced all year. I would argue that their offense is not as good as Bama’s (and I have the stats to back that up) and their defense is not as good as Georgia’s (and I have the stats to back that up).
We shredded Georgia’s defense.
We stopped Bama’s offense many times and this defense has gotten far better since then.
Exactly what I was about to type.

Thanks for validating my post. I literally ended it with:
Edit #3: I’d genuinely love to feel as confidant as y’all about this game. If you’re going to refute these claims, please provide the reasoning, not just “we can’t be stopped.”

Not gonna lie, I lol’d.
I’ve been on the rant for a while. The downvotes don’t mean shite.
I’m genuinely looking for some objective insight into this. If anything, it’s to feel more confidant about steam rolling Clemson. I think we’ll beat them, but the 20+points you guys are predicting is unjustified and I explained why. I’m genuinely looking to change my opinion here.
Based on sone of your assumptions, I don't think it's possible to change your thought process, because you've already decided that OSU is truly elite, and I have my doubts about that.
I'll say this, I am a pretty pessimistic LSU fan. I go into most every tough game cautiously optimistic.
I think the consistency and maturity of this team, particularly burrow, jefferson, CEH, Delpit, and others puts this as a 2 td win
Posted on 1/5/20 at 9:57 pm to The Detroit Lions
You didn't even mention the key player and mismatch for LSU, Travis Etienne. I'm more wary of him than the wr's. On defense, Shelvin could be the ace in the hole, if he can clog the middle and LSU stops the run, that would be a big advantage at slowing their offense down.

I think OSU’s defense is absolutely elite. I think OSU is a top 3 team. When you compare them to us, our offense is undoubtedly better, but their defense still edges out ours.

LSU should easily win the line of scrimmage on both offense and defense. He who wins at the line wins the game.

confidant
Can't be any more clear than that.

I’ll take the L on that one.
Posted on 1/5/20 at 10:21 pm to The Detroit Lions
It will be a tough game we'll have to play A+ smart football. If we don't they'll win a close one. Dabo got swag!
Posted on 1/5/20 at 10:35 pm to The Detroit Lions
And we are the best they will play. Check the spread.

What’s the score if Tua’s Bama played OSU and the score for UGA v OSU?
I don’t know. I would speculate that Bana would probably beat OSU with a healthy Tua something like 40-35.
Georgia would probably lose to OSU 24-14.
But that’s just a guess based on what I watched from the two teams.

Stretch. I didn't read any of that shite. Victim 15. Period.
