The football part probably just grew out of people saying they were both at ASH, which is true.
A lot of what you stated as fact is from inaccurate second hand information
And JT was present at almost all functions on the good side of town on weekends for two years. The portrayal of him running unchecked in the streets is also not accurate.
He did something alarmingly stupid, he should be held accountable by all parties, LSU and the criminal justice system. That is all anyone knows as a fact right now.

I follow him. He has some of the best takes on pretty much anything. At first, I was surprised that this situation made it onto his feed but it definitely warrants the attention it’s getting.

Unless you’re still hung up on the prior football comment/misstep it really isn’t.
These guys didn’t just show up to JT’s dorm as strangers, man. I know he’s a good kid, but he associated at some pretty close level with people that are not, and he couldn’t leave that behind despite the world being handed to him on a platter. It’s sad, really.

Completely agree with your post. But I’d imagine pre-camp summer housing and activity will be under more scrutiny going forward. Like you said, Lindsey wasn’t a candidate for this sort of thing.

Jesus. Just think of the position that this puts the LSU Administration in. You had two murderers in possession of two AR-15s and two handguns who are living in an LSU on-campus dorm.
Think about how badly this could’ve gone. These guys are facing life in prison (possibly the death penalty for killing a minor) and therefore have nothing to fricking lose. They've been on the run for three months and they were picked up in an on-campus LSU dorm. This could’ve ended in a shoot out with the police with several students caught in the crossfire.
No matter what happens with the judicial system, this kid can never be let back on campus. I don’t care if he’s the next coming of Bo Jackson. And I certainly don’t care how much his Mom cries about him being a good boy. Let the thugs at Miami or Florida (or whatever school Urban Meyer is coaching at) deal with this level of scum.

How does that old saying go - People don’t just hang around with the wrong crowd. More often than not they are the wrong crowd.
I’m sorry, but “good kids” don’t hide murderers and their automatic weapons in their college dorm rooms. And they certainly don’t give them their student ID so that they can come and go as they please.

Listening to that, witnesses, maybe his own family stated that he knew they were wanted for murder, which lead to Lindsey’s arrest, so they have an eyewitness that sealed his fate, move on…
