I feel very confident about this game.

ESPN gives LSU a 73% chance to win.

A 9.5 point spread equates to about a 75% chance to win.

I like our odds.

We all know what they are physically capable of, what their strengths and weaknesses are
What we don't know is where they are mentally and emotionally and if the criticism of the O is weighing on them. We can only hope that Kelly has them prepared mentally to fight and persevere to compensate for all of his poor coaching decisions.

When you also consider South Carolina has a running QB - which we have yet to figure out how to stop one - that doesn't bode well for a struggling LSU team.

How many home night games have we lost under BK?

I’m very confident we can defend the home turf

I swear some lsu fans are just miserable. What kinda loser mentality goes into a game thinking about losing before it even starts?

It's called being realistic. If you think LSU is doing great, then you're blind or you need to be put in some psych ward. The reality is we're not a very good football team. Take off your purple sunglasses and you will see the truth.

Don't quote who we've beaten because our best win is against an FCS school. Clemson, Florida (even though they beat an overrated Texas team this weekend) and La. Tech are mediocre at best. We did lose to No. 4 Ole Miss by only 5, but that score is very misleading. They pretty much handled us from start to finish.

There is no loser mentality here, but a realistic take based on what has happened this season. Our only saving grace is our defense, but they will eventually collapse because our offense is inept and our defense can't continue to play the entire game.

Consider this: We just played the worst rushing defense in the conference and got 59 total yards rushing and our leading rusher had 22 yards. Ole Miss opponents had been averaging 170 rushing yards per game!

Keep drinking the Kool-Aid if you want to!

Half of this fanbase despise CBK and it's getting more polarized by the day

Im convinced he could Win the title this year and they'd still wanna fire him

That said, the bye was well timed. Id say it'll be tied at the half and lsu depth wears Carolina out in 2nd half.

I am hoping the week off benefits Nuss’ health and the staff were able to direct their attention to issues on the OL

Moderate confidence

Prior to the season, strictly due to the o line, I expected 8-4
Nothing I’ve seen gives me more confidence. In fact, Nuss not being right gives me less.
Until we can run the ball, I’ll go into every game no better than 50/50.

How is watching an anemic offense over 5 games and hoping 17-21 points is enough to win a game miserable? It’s just being realistic. Maybe some just have their head up their arses.

31-13 LSU..... gonna take out some frustration and a rested Nuss will play better.

He looked obviously hurt against Ole Miss , how much better can he be in two weeks ?

I think it works out good for the defense running MVB with the 1's on offense during the bye week. Let the 1's V 1's practice with having a mobile QB.

Now just need Nuss to pull his head out of his but and figure out how to throw a pass down field.

I think we win just based on how bad south carolina is, the fact we are coming off a loss, and its a night game at home.

However i cannot tell you what the offense will look like.
The optimist in me says nuss and the receivers figure out the passing attack and we put up points but still struggle to run.
The life long LSU fan in me says nothing changes and we scrape together a win but set ourselves up to lose at least 2-3 more this season

I expect a boring relatively low-scoring LSU win

I am perfectly fine with this….I’ll take those for the rest of the season. That is football….

Moderately high to best SC at home, but my confidence in this team overall is very low. We will lose likely 3,quite possibly 4 more games unless a near miracle happens and the offense improves substantially

I won't feel good about any game until the offense gets much better.

I have extreme confidence LSU wins this game by 14+. Then again, I'm not a pathetic negative bitch that thinks the way we have played on offense so far is how we'll be all season. Some of you are too damn dumb to think straight.

Im not super confident. I still believe we can be elite. We have the jimmy’s and joe’s at every position but i need to see it on offense. South carolina had a lead in the 4th at mizzou. 24-20 LSY
Mizzu has only played 2 teams with a pulse (S Carolina and Kansas). They allowed 20 and 31 points respectively. Mizzu's defense isn't close to LSU's.

South Carolina is not a bad team. Very similar to us… Strong defense, and weak offense.
Not only is South Carolina a bad team, they are worse in everything compared to LSU outside of ppg and ints.
