It’s Fournette for me at RB1.

If you put Fournette with today’s style of offense, he would get 125 a game. Teams knew we were one dimensional.

He averaged 120 yards a game over his LSU Career. He averaged 163 in 2015. That's rushing only. From scrimmage he averaged 184 per game in 2015, 136 for his career. His Freshman year he had only 14 carries per game.

Offense

QB: Burrow
C: Wilkerson
G: Andolsek
G: Faneca
T: Campbell
T: Whitworth
RB: Fournette
FB: Hester (not his normal spot but he could play it well)
TE: LeFleur
WR: Chase
WR: Nabers

Additional offense based on formation

RB: Faulk
WR: Wendel Davis
WR: Bowe

Have to think on the defense, but

Michael Brooks
Glen Dorsey
Honey Badger
Laron Landry
Devin White
P Peterson

Are all on it.

Nice starting lineup.. The only change I would make is Chad Jones in place of Landry.

I find that Charles Alexander is under appreciated when these lists are made.

He was the star on average teams (8-4 his last two seasons), while still earning All American honors both years.

Finished 9th (junior) and 5th (senior) in Heisman voting. Picked 12th overall and played 7 seasons with the Bengals. Lost the 81 Super Bowl to Joe Montana's 49ers 26-21

I love big Jim, but nope.

And, Pocic over Mawae and Dr Joe?!
I see you put Kevin at OT, but that’s Whit/Campbell…..

That’s a swing and a miss podnuh.

We have these threads a good bit but does anyone hate themselves enough to name an 85 man all-time roster?

Andolsek was definitely more of a Guard than Collins but I think Collins is better and can play guard.

RB1 : Faulk/Hilliard? This one's tough man

Frankly, you have to take the Top 4 in career yardage - Faulk - versatility, effort. Hilliard, hard cuts, inside, effort. Charles Alexander, smooth, reliable, they know he's coming and he gets the yards, anyway, and Fournette because of the upside and mismatch he presents.

WRs

A fool's errand. After Chase, there are 30 guys from LSU that most would be happy with.

quote:

You know, Cannon was actually a badass TE.

Not in college, though. He was "whatever the offense needs" and, one of the best defenders in the iron man era. He had to change in the pros because of injuries. To get him on the roster, though, I would call him an H-back. A Heisman winning H-back.

Oh, and Lafleur should be on the team as a TE. Seems wrong without him. Not based on what he did in the pros, but what he did at LSU.

CB:

See WRs above, but with Peterson this time. Badger is a different animal (<-See what I did there?) - he's a take "regardless of position" - probably a nickel/return man on an All-Star roster.

Can't remember his name . Guard who played a long time with the Jets in the 80s. First name Dan.
