Chiefs look like the Sean Payton saints. They have run at least 5 screens from different looks already

Is he 3rd string ? There’s a reason he’s playing most of this game

The only person I think truly knows the answer to that is Andy Reid. But if something happens to Mahomes and I had to bet on who goes in next, I'm pretty sure they'd go to Fields next simply because he's experienced, it's why they brought him in. But hey I could be wrong, maybe Reid has been impressed enough to give Nuss the shot if it happens, I just don't think it's likely.

And Nuss is starting this game and playing most of it because the 4th QB is in concussion protocol and Fields already has experience and I'm sure they're trying to preserve his health as well, so they're taking the opportunity to give the rookie some extended run to see what he can do for a full game. It doesn't mean he's now QB2 if that's what you're trying to insinuate.

The only place that questions who the second string QB is for the chiefs is this message board

It’s 100% set in stone it’s Fields

Isn’t really about who is 2nd string.Of course they will play the guy with most experience but to act like Nuss is sucking is truly stupid.

This discussion started because you took offense to him being called 3rd string so yeah it kinda is about that, and now even you just unwittingly agreed with it

No I took offense with the idiots criticizing him for throwing an interception and saying he’s playing terrible .

Correct. Because the 1st string guy is coming off injury and hasn’t played at all and they don’t want the 2nd string to get injured in that scenario

And the 4th string guy is out due to concussion protocol.

That throw just now is why he doesn’t have future in the nfl as a starter

10 yard out route to the sideline and his arm wasn’t strong enough at all to get it there on time even with stepping into it

Just think of all the people who constantly melted in 2022 into 2023 because Jayden Daniels was starting over Nuss

Don't mention the dime he threw to the sideline a few plays later.

I’ll talk about his play to the very detail of you want

He is 12-21 for 126 yards 1 int and a 55 passer rating

I’m not exactly sure what the fight is about. Nobody hates him. He is what he is

Exactly. He takes risks like he has Justin Herbert’s arm. He can make some pretty impressive off platform throws at different arm angles, but he panics in the pocket and makes a few too many mistakes for a true backup in this league.
