Clayton would have been an All-Pro receiver if he hadn't been an alcoholic.

he had some minor injuries, didn't miss many games though, but he wrote about his issues with alcohol and them basically ruining his career in his book

The Best Rookie season ever?

It is critical that the best players go to modern offensive programs that build around their skills. LSU has promised, but has yet to deliver. O & Canada say they prefer a DTQB, like Saban, who says it gives the Offense an 11th Gap and a 15% advantage. But this year, Harris was Scapegoated by Miles' Heisman Hunt with an injured Fournette, and the Offense was "Les" explosive, averaging 5 less pts/game.

Dak would not have been utilized in Les's or O's deeply flawed, one-dimensional, slow, predictable system: No RPO/Spread/Tempo, 1-2WR/2TE/FB/ under center, running 75% of the time when passes produce more yards. Miles had 10 top WRs and 6 left because in 2015 the Off averaged 15 Pass attempts per game through the first 4 games, 125th, or last.

Dupre said that if he and the WRs/QBs had known that they were going to be blocking for Leonard, they would not have come to LSU.

Coaches were so obsessed with getting "the next Adrian Peterson" a Heisman that they played him injured and took the most talented Roster LSU ever had on Offense the past 2 yrs, with the #1 Rank in returning Starters this year, and wasted it "blocking for Leonard".

#1 DTQB Perrilloux's fate was sealed when he did not follow Vince Young at Texas, flipping on NSD because of empty recruiting promises from newly hired Miles who ran 75% of time at Okla State.

Diarse was a good DTQB who was used as a hybrid blocking TE/WR and redshirted his FR yr before transferring to TCU.

BH was the #1 DTQB until he committed to LSU at the end of his Junior year with 21 offers to every major up-tempo, spread, passing program, from ALA, AUB, Baylor, Oregon, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Auburn, MSST, NC, Neb, Hou, Ariz, ARK, USCe, etc, and wasted it by believing Miles promise to run a spread offense. Saban promised Harris he would build the Offense around him, with Malzahn, Freeze, Briles, Meyer it was a given.

TEs/RBs: Jeter & the RBs had more receptions in 2015.

If Coach O does not win NC in next 3 years, I bet you would start a thread bashing his every move. Even if he did win NC like Les, you would bash him for his last 3 years of failures at LSU,

We live in what you did for me the last time.

What the hell did they think Miles and the coaching staff would do with Fournette on the team? Did they think that LSU would run some pass happy offense? LSU, under Miles was always a run first offense. They obviously didn't pay any attention to the offensive scheme that LSU ran, for them to think they weren't going to be blocking for the stable of running backs that Miles had stockpiled.

Middle of the pack passing team at the best and middle of the pack running team at the worst is what LSU had been under Miles watch.

The young man should have gone elsewhere if he wasn't going to be happy blocking for guys like Fournette, Guice, Magee, Hilliard and the other backs on the rosters Pretty stupid and selfish comment for Dupre to make in my opinion. If he did make that statement.

To the OP, maybe let it go. The guy did good things for us. Things change and the moment passed, but don't act as if it was all bad. Show some respect, to him, to the school, to the program, and to yourself.

And yes, I know this will fall of deaf ears.

He said this in an interview? What/when was it? Print or electronic? I'd like to read or hear it.

Thanks.

The fact this has over 200 upvotes proves the rant is full of mostly idiots like yourself.

No one wanted him at QB, except basically only Miss. St. you dumbass.

Don't act like this was some big frick up by Miles. The Miles hate on here is ridiculous and old. It shows how feeble minded most of our fan base is. That man did great things for this University and truly loved and cared for his players and LSU.

We get it, it was time for him to move on. Just as it's time for all the idiots on here to move on as well.

Do you know who the last qb from LA to get drafted was?

Stefan Lefors from Baton Rouge. What's up with Saban and Jimbo not getting him?

This is 100% true because before coach O Les would not utilize his TEs coached by Ensminger and as soon as Les was gone balls started to be thrown to TEs

In cams first year we had Landry and obj. People say we wasted their talent. Yet some fans want to not throw to those guys.

Last season, a te caught a catch in every game. If you look at the percentage thrown to them in LSUs run heavy offense, they got used.

Also, Les Miles had the most productive TE in the history of the program. Dickson. Just another offensive player under Miles a top the all time list at their position.

So, basically, Dak Prescott would have just been a blocker for our Tigers?

Miles is gone for good but just to ensure facts are reported, Miles ran 59% of the time at OSU and 61% at LSU.

By comparison, Saban ran 57% of the time at LSU and 59% at Bama.

Edited to add that Malzahn runs 68% of the time at Auburn and Meyer runs 63% of the time at TOSU. These are not passing offenses.

Freeze and Briles do pass (and lose) a good bit.
