Yes he did and it may have cost him a shot at a SEC and NC Title

Russel Shep would've been an NFL QB if tutored by Dan Mullen.

Saban wanted Michael Clayton to play safety. I always wonder if Clayton would have had a better pro career as a safety

As much as I was not a big fan of Les Miles(The coach) I can't pile on him about this one. It wasn't like he was the only one who missed on his evaluation:

Only a few major conference schools wanted him

He was the 8th quarterback, and 135th pick of the draft.

Ironically Les, who wanted Dak Prescott to play Tight End at LSU rather than Quarterback, was himself the Tight Ends coach for the Dallas Cowboys at one point. The same team Dak Prescott is now the Quarterback for. Crazy world, eh??

He is gone. No reason to be unappreciative.

How many balls would he have handled at the other big name schools that didn't even recruit him?

Next time learn a little about how things actually happened before you come here and make a fool of yourself.

It's deja vu all over again as Yogi Berra used to say. I see the same thing playing out with Thompson, the QB from Landry-Walker who is also going to Miss. St. Phenomenal athlete. He is not considering LSU because Cam Cameron told him in no uncertain terms that he is a TE and not a QB. We shall see.

Interesting. I hadn't read that. How about some documentation so I can read up on it.
TIA
