No he didn't, 'genius'. Crowton was the QB coach & recruiter who mishandled that.

No...Crowton was gone by that time. Anyway it was Les. He was high on Stephen Rivers.

He wasn't the only coach that felt that way.

I don't understand the negativity. The Hat held this program back 5 years, heaven forbid the fanbase mention his name 5 months after being let go.

If we had Dak in 12-15, Miles would probably still be our coach.

Man we have a retarded fricking fanbase.

Teams that recruited dak as a qb all the way:

1. Mississippi state.

The end.

Y'all must think every other coach in the country is terrible too if we are going to be consitent. But I don't expect intellectual honesty from lsu fans when it comes to football.

Recover? From what? I was saying it was time last year. I only argue with morons that act like the most successful era of lsu football was terrible under him. Takes a real imbecile to think that way but this fanbase is full of intellectually deficient football fans.

So does Les get mega credit for being one of only two SEC coaches who thought Tyrann Mathieu was worthy of a scholarship?

He was also assigned 3 stars by the recruiting services and received offers only from:

Mississippi State
LSU
TCU
Memphis
North Texas
Northwestern State
Louisiana Tech
UL-Lafayette
McNeese State.

At least Les had enough sense to offer him a scholarship.

Absolutely. Morris Claiborne was a nice under the radar pick up as well.

They offered him to play qb. He stuck with his commitment like a man would do.

This isn't even true. LSU offered as a QB late. Dak stuck with his commitment. That is why he is where he is, he has a lot of character.

And Nick wanted him as a defensive end.

One D1 school offered him as a qb.
