That's like Blanco saying Houston wasn't prepared for Harvey.

We haven't been able to beat them lately because they are light years ahead of us up front on both sides of the ball. Hopefully that changes soon.
More so on the OL than DL.

18 down votes on this from totally clueless fools that have no idea where the game is actually won and lost. (OL/DL)

would've been nice if he recruited offensive linemen that could accomplish this. However,
I read that Fournette got the ball with 8 or 9 in the box on 83% of his carries at LSU. Kinda tough for 5 O-Linemen to block that many.

well we led the country in rushing yards BEFORE contact last year.
And therein lies the problem... it could've been better. But for you and Miles, good enough was good enough.

Fact of the matter a once in a generational RB and breaking some rushing records gave us 3rd and 4th place finishes in our division. We were barely in the conferences upper 50%, much less elite. But hot damn, we led the nation in yds before contact. The ultimate measure of success right there. Yep, FACT. Led in that category, what did it get us... we led in a category.

I'm still waiting for someone to list all the coaches that have beaten Saban at bama more than Miles. I wonder why that is.

That is one of the dumbest things I've read. Thanks for the laugh.

It's truly unbelievable this motherfricker is doubling and quadrupling down on what got him fired in a bigly humiliating fashion and showing no shame at all doing it. Either that or no self awareness at all.

The point is that Les was overrated as a recruiter from 2005-2008. That's an opinion, backed up back facts.
Overrated compared to who?
You must think attrition is limited to LSU

In his defense, he's the only guy with 3 wins over Saban

I think Dick Satan was legitimately happy that LSU kept Miles for so long. So much so that I think he had game plans that included throwing LSU a bone so the AD and boosters would keep Miles around longer. Notice how many times Bama would seem to labor against LSU and then all of a sudden in the 4th quarter turn it on and secure a victory? I think Satan realized that the best way to keep LSU and its great recruiting base at bay is to keep Less Smiles at LSU. LSU, since Satan brought it back to relevance, has always been Bamas biggest threat due to the recruiting talent and loyalty in-State.

Nick Saban playing 3D chess. Les Miles playing hopscotch.
