Then, he get hits by Hightower and can't get rid of the ball fast enough. Throws into double coverage and two int's later he is a nervous sissy in the pocket.

You seem to forget Lee standing in the pocket last year against the vols and making big throws

you have no way of knowing what our record would be without lee this year. it might be 10-0, it could be 8-2. no one knows! this goes for the same people that claim we lose to bama if Lee plays the whole game. he was in the game for 11 snaps iirc. we have NO idea if he would hve gotten his shite together or continued playing bad. people making blanket statements about either QB need to realize that it is just specualtion.

Oh, how I missed these arguments...
"Lee is better than Jefferson"
"Jefferson is better than Lee and you are racist"
"Both our QBs are awful and would be water boys at Tulane"
"Both are QBs are great and we are lucky to have them."

Can we do this every day until the end of the season?

LSU (2007) and Florida (2006) both did it.

If anyone thinks LSU can go all the way to the BCS Championship game with JJ...well your'e nuts. His play last nite was very average, he can't throw to a reciever until he is wide open, and that causes panic when he can't and he either tries to force the ball or run. I grant he has good wheels but a pocket thrower he's not. Lee needs to man up and start being the QB he can and has been, get over Alabama...Lee and many others haven't done well against that D.

Tebow and Perrilloux had defined roles as running QBs. Miles shattered the distinction between Lee and Jefferson last night

Is it that hard to realize that last night was basically a big practice. Y'all are reading way too much into something that doesn't matter one bit

All the game last night proved is that Jefferson has pictures of Miles with one of Edwins girl or boy in the back room at Shadys.

but we would still be 10-0 with JJ starting.

Eh, big problem with this logic is that Jefferson was unavailable for the first 4 games of the season.

quote:

He has a better arm than LEE to get the ball in tight spaces. His throws might not be accurate but there is no floater up for grabs.

These two sentences contradict one another. He may have a stronger arm, but his elongated release makes it difficult to fit a pass into tight spaces.

Am I not allowed to comment on the situation and try to counter some of the irrational hatred and bashing of the number one team, its coach and its players?

The whole original post is assumed on a close tight game. Unfortunately Lee spotted some pretty good leads the entire season minus Alabama and thank God we had JJ in the wings.
Considering Lee has played well I say don't mess with the chemistry and continue to use JJ in situations that allow for success.
Remember WKU is not an Arkansas and we will need Lee in that game.
