Good God man. Do you see how many LSU players have earned starting positions in the NFL in their rookie year?

Under delivers? Outside of Saban, who has done better in the last 10 years? Who holds the OOC reg season win streak? Who is the only coach to have a winning record for games being down going into the 4th qtr? Who else has a near .500 record against top 10 teams (ver very few)?

Idiot.

Daddy Dale brought the program up from the bottom of the league, won a couple of SEC championships & got LSU to the Final Four twice. Yet, as for developing players: when the league as a whole was down, UK was on probation, as was Miss.State, the 2 teams that won league championships were Ga. & Vandy. Daddy Dale had Shaq, Stanley Roberts, Vernell Singlton, then Chris Jackson, etc. and never won a thing. Vandy won with fricking Will Perdue. And if people here think CLM is goofy, they never heard Daddy Dale speak at length about anything. He was borderline whacko.

I mean its not like radically under talented teams are beating us consistently. We aren'y losing to Tennessee every year.

Yea, like 5 years ago. He's terrible on game days. Most of the time the Tigers win in spite of his coaching, not because of it. Great recruiter, good guy, runs a good program, shitty on game days. He can't think fast enough.

That's not ever close to true. Miles brings in great talent, doesn't develop them, and they go to the NFL...because they are great talents.

Shaq, Stanley Roberts, Vernell Singlton and Chris Jackson only played one year together.

In shaq's 3 years, lsu won an sec championship and got screwed out of another.

I don' think there is high school player alive who could just go work out for 3 years and play in the NFL.

The mental jump from high school to NFL would be almost impossible without some development at the college level.

So to say Les and the staff have nothing to do with it is crazy.

One of the most NFL talent producing universities and he still gets this?! I guess one could argue that he brings in 5 star guys like Patrick Peterson and they don't need much development....fair enough...lets look at some of the just 2 star and 3 star guys who he has coached and how they have fared:

Tyson Jackson - 3 stars - NFL Starter
Jacob Hester - 2 stars - NFL Starter - now out the NFL
Trindon Holiday - 3 stars - NFL Special Teams Starter
Brandon LaFell - 3 stars - NFL Starter
Danny McCray - 3 stars - NFL back up
Kelivn Sheppard - 3 stars - NFL back up
Lamin Barrow - 3 stars - NFL back up
Morris Claiborne - 3 stars - Won Thorpe - NFL starter
Tyrann Mathieu - 3 stars - Won Bednarik - NFL starter
Bennie Logan - 3 stars - NFL back up
Alfred Blue - 3 stars - NFL back up
Elliott Porter - 3 star - Starting at LSU
Terrence McGee - 3 star - significant PT at LSU
Ronald Martin - 3 star - Starting at LSU
Jalen Mills - 3 star - Starting at LSU

Yup, terrible developer of talent

Dale didn't inherit a team one year removed from a National Championship. He had to build a program from the bottom up.

So what is the equivalent of our football team doing the past 10 years of Dale Brown beating UNLV, Loyola Maramount, Georgetown, Kentucky, and Arizona etc.

Is Saban = Bobby Knight?
