Nick Saban was worried about the game last week until he looked across the field and saw Les Miles on the other sideline.

He has the 3rd highest win % in sec history. Higher than Saban and Spurrier

Great recruiter, good guy, runs a good program, shitty on game days. He can't think fast enough.

What? You don't get the 3rd highest win % in sec history by being a shitty game day coach.

That's not ever close to true. Miles brings in great talent, doesn't develop them, and they go to the NFL...

You have no idea what you're talkg about. You have never once heard an nfl go /coach saying lsu players come into the nfl raw. An nfl coach said bama players come in used up and not know basic fundamentals about their position. Drew Kirkpatrick didn't even know how to backpedal

Best record of any program in the conference since the time he's been in the conference is under delivering?

Man, I'd hate to have his job.

That is an ominous commentary on the state of LSU basketball. Different degrees of mediocre. Much of the same can be said for football.

You and your percentage crap. Saban 4 crystal balls Miles one, that's the winning percentage that counts. Miles end of game collapses year after year on national stage. Saban says the same thing Bobby Knight said about Dale Brown "I was worried about losing until I looked across the court and saw Dale Brown" just substitute Miles for Dale Brown. Throw out all the numbers and rationalizations you want but you can't polish a turd.

With all this said Miles is a fantastic person, great recruiter and has been great for school. I think he's stuck in the pass and to comfortable in his position. He's lost whatever edge or fire he use to coach with after he humiliated himself and team in the last National Title game. Saban took his heart that game, and shoved it down his throat

That's only true because Alabama had wins vacated by the NCAA.

On the field, Alabama has the best record (among SEC teams) since 2005.

Since 2007, Saban has a better overall and SEC record.

Urban Meyer had a better overall and SEC record at Florida than Miles does at LSU.

Gus Malzahn has a better overall and SEC record since he's been in the league.

Mark Richt has a better record in conference games since 2012 (same overall record as Miles - 27-9).

Gary Pinkel has a better overall and SEC record over the last 2 years.

Dan Mullen has a better conference record over the last 2 years.

What about all the great talents Texas recruits? Or Florida? USC has top classes all the time, yet LSU consistently puts guys like Minter and Sheppard in the NFL who were not even bigtime recruits. Where was Michael Brockers rated out of high school? Maybe about the 200th best recruit in the country.

LSU's game plan is almost always very sound, and the team rarely "doesn't show". The games you can count where LSU just wasn't in it from the get-go can be counted on 1 hand under Miles. Saban had 1-2 WTF games per year when he was here.
